3.Highest Mountains in the World
Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro, a dormant(休眠的) volcano, is the highest mountain in Africa. Its summit is 5 895 meters above sea level. Located in Tanzania, it is the largest free-standing mountain rise in the world, meaning it is not part of a mountain range. Kilimanjaro is made up of three volcanoes: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. The Nepali name is Sagarmatha, which has various meanings.
Denali
Denali is the highest mountain in North America. Its summit is 6 193 meters above sea level. It is located in the USA, in the slate of Alaska. "Denali" comes from Koyukon, a traditional Native Alaskan language, and means "the tall one". This name had been used for many generations and was used by early non-native researchers and naturalists. But in 1896, William A. Dickey, a prospector, began calling Denali "Mount McKinley ", in honor of William McKinley, a presidential candidate at the time.
Mount Vinson
Mount Vinson is the highest mountain on Antarctica. Its summit is 5 140 meters above sea level. It is located in the summit plateau of Vinson Massif, near the base of the Palmer Peninsula in western Antarctica. Mount Vinson is part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains. It was spotted from the air by U. S. pilot Lincoln Ellsworth in 1935.

It's a wide, shared dirt track that can get busy on the weekend in particular. At the top, you can get a great view of the city.
Parc Angrignon
Parc Angrignon is easy to access by bicycle. It contains around 240 acres of green space, wooded areas and ponds. With small waterfalls and playgrounds, biking out to the park can be a lovely weekend activity. Remember to pack some snacks, a hook and enjoy a long, relaxing summer afternoon.
The North-South Bike Route
The North-South Bike Route consists of almost 10 kilometers that cut right through the city. From the St Lawrence River up to Rivière des Prairies, you can stop for a picnic at the beautiful Parc La Fontaine. Heading northward, you'll find that the path is less attractive, but cycling the full route will give you some insight into various neighborhoods that aren't common to tourists.

Are you looking for meaningful travel opportunities that put the focus on the protection of easily-damaged ecosystems and threatened marine species This project is well suited to volunteers who want to help with the reef species monitoring, sea turtle recovery and weekly beach plastic removal.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, unless volunteering with a friend or family member who is 18 or older. You aren't required to have any specialized experience, as you'll receive comprehensive training to prepare for carrying out research-based activities at sea. Please note that you need to be able to float and swim at least 50 meters. Please be sure to rate your swimming ability when you apply to volunteer in Australia. All volunteers will be tested upon arrival to the program.
Volunteer schedule
First Day: On your first day of volunteering, you will be accompanied to your project by our local staff. Volunteers typically work in morning and afternoon shifts(换班) that last around 3 to 5 hours each.
Weekdays: A typical volunteer day is as follows:
7:30 AM Breakfast at the volunteer accommodation.
8:00 AM Volunteers leave home and travel to their project.
