Have you ever wanted to become an engineer The film Dream Big shows how engineers can do many good things for people's lives. It teaches us how engineers use STEM skills to help the world. The film goes into theaters on February 17.
It tells the stories of engineers who try to come up with creative ideas to help people. One of the engineers in the film is Angelica Hernandez. In high school, she won a robotics(机器人技术) competition. She says, “It was exciting and you can get more than you think.”
This year, she works on helping people use less energy and save money. “Engineering is such a good job that you make good money, you get to travel around the world, you get to solve interesting problems and help people，” she says.
Dream Big is to show people that engineers can do many good things to the world. Greg MacGillivray made the film. He explains, “We want kids to get excited about engineering. No matter who you are, or where you are, you can become an engineer.” He adds, “All you need is the good ideas.”
