Copenhagen has GREAT public transport. It is reliable, safe, and easily accessible. Of course, like everything in Copenhagen, it is not cheap. The system can be a little confusing, even for locals, but we're here to help simplify it all for you! And today our focus is Travelling with a Bike.
BIKES ON THE TRAIN
Bicycles can be taken on s-tog lines for free but you can't take bikes through N rreport station during peak hours. To take your bike on a train, you need to put it on the first or last carriage, clearly marked with large signs of bicycles on the outside.
To take a bike on a regional train, which takes you to parts of Denmark outside Copenhagen, you must buy an extra ticket. The price depends on the distance and varies from 16 kr to 28 kr.
BIKES ON THE METRO
Bicycles can be taken on the metro for an extra 13 kr. You need to pay for the bike with its own ticket. You can't take your bike on the metro during peak hours.
BIKES ON THE BUS
You can bring a bike on a bus but each bus is limited to two bikes, even if there is much space. Generally, people do not travel with their bikes on buses in Copenhagen.
BIKES ON THE FERRY(渡轮)
Charges for bicycles depend on the company and the destination. You will need to check with the ferry companies. When you book the ticket, you must state that you have a cycle, even if it's free of charge.

Humans are very social creatures. In addition to verbal(语言的) communication, we also use our bodies to help us better express our thoughts and feelings. This non-verbal communication is known as body language.
Body language includes things like facial expressions, eye contact and posture(姿势). It actually developed as a form of communication before humans could speak or write. We can tell a lot about what a person is thinking or feeling just by looking at them.
In fact, body language is so common that you may not even realize that you are communicating many messages to others every day without even using words. For example, you might move your head from side to side to express the word "no" instead of actually saying the word. Or, you might give a "thumbs(拇指) up" to show that you like or agree with something.
But now that we are spending more time online, we may not have as many in-person interactions as before. Because of this, our means of non-verbal communication has changed, but is still an important way to express our thoughts.
Our "digital body language" is becoming increasingly important as we change how we communicate. Instead of using voice messages, we can video chat with our friends to show them our smiling face. Another way to express our emotions digitally is through emojis(表情符号). When we are communicating online, we are only revealing the content and leaving out tones and facial expressions. That's when emojis can help in communication.
Whether using video chat to show our expression or sending an emoji, don't forget the importance of digital body language and non-verbal communication.
4、What does the author mean by saying "Humans are very social creatures"
A. Humans like living in groups. B. Humans need to communicate.
C. Humans depend on each other. D. Humans differ from other beings.
5、Why are the two examples mentioned in Paragraph 3
A. To explain how to express no.
B. To prove how much one likes something.
C. To demonstrate how to communicate messages.
D. To show how much we underestimate body language.
6、What makes digital body language more and more important
A. The way of communication. B. The voice messages we use.
C. The time we spend online. D. The invention of emojis.
7、How can emojis help in communication
A. By revealing the content. B. By helping us video chat.
C. By expressing our emotions. D. By leaving out facial expressions.

Margot doesn’t have a garbage can. It doesn’t need one because Margot simply doesn’t cause anything to get thrown away. The restaurant doesn’t allow any type of single use plastic. Margot, which opened last year, is one of the small but growing restaurants around the world aiming to avoid not only food leftovers, but also any garbage.
“Food waste has been increasing as an issue for restaurants over the last 10 years” says Calvin Brown. He runs the Sustainable Restaurant Association. Based in the United Kingdom, the organization helps food business become more environmentally responsible. He says that food waste contributes to releasing the greenhouse gas, so there is strong motivation to reduce waste and help the environment.
In the USA, food waste and packing account for nearly half of the material sent to landfills. Restaurants from McDonald’s to Starbucks are addressing this issue with “no straw Mondays” and limits on single-serving plastic, but a handful of restaurateurs are trying to get rid of rubbish entirely. There’s also economic case to be made for waste reduction. One study shows that restaurants save seven dollars for every dollar invested in anti-waste methods.
Avoiding food waste is the first and perhaps most obvious challenge for sustainable restaurants. Doug McMaster, chef at Silo in London, only serves a set menu. This removes the worry that one particular item won’t sell well, and will spoil in the post(堆肥) is a necessity as well. Nolla (meaning “zero” in Finnish) in Helsinki, Finland is giving compost to its suppliers as well as its diners. Nolla also has food- tracking software more commonly used among corporate food service companies to keep track of what sells and what rots.
Sometimes restaurants call themselves environmentally friendly, but they might just be using the label. Calvin offers some pointers on what to look for to make sure a restaurant is truly committed to sustainability.
8、What does Margot feature
A. Its large size. B. Its opening hours.
C. Its zero-waste goal. D. Its plastic garbage cans.
9、What is paragraph 3 mainly about
A. Ways of packaging food.
B. The issue of investing in services.
C. The importance of environmental protection.
D. Efforts of some restaurants to reduce rubbish.
10、Which of the following does Nolla try to do
A. Only serve a set menu. B. Hardly use refrigerators.
C. Supply compost to its customers. D. Keep track of diners’ preferences.
11、What does Calvin think restaurants should do
A. Expand food business.
B. Use eco-friendly labels.
C. Save money on dealing with kitchen garbage.
D. Contribute to sustainable development of the food industry.

Through an analysis of fMRI brain scan images taken from 138 people, the new artificial intelligence algorithm(算法) achieved an accuracy rate of over 99 percent in detecting potential indicators of Alzheimer's(老人痴呆症). In particular, the method is able to pick out signs of mild cognitive impairment or MCI(轻度认知障碍) —which is the step between cognitive decline (as normally associated with aging) and Alzheimer's. Often, MCI won't come with any physical symptoms that can be spotted. However, it's also important to note that MCI doesn't always necessarily mean Alzheimer's—but it's an important potential indicator of the disease in the future.
While human analysis of fMRI scans for signs of MCI can well adapt to various situations, humans are nowhere near as fast or reliable as deep learning techniques, which learn from vast databases of training data, then apply that knowledge to new data in intelligent ways.
“Of course, we don't dare to suggest that a medical professional should ever rely on any algorithm 100 percent. Think of a machine as a robot capable of doing the most tedious task of sorting the data and searching for features, ” says Rytis Maskeliūnas, an professor from the Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) in Lithuania.
Once the computer software has highlighted potential cases, specialists can then review and confirm them. An earlier diagnosis means earlier treatment, even if we're yet to discover a way of stopping Alzheimer's completely.
“Although this was not the first attempt to diagnose the early onset of Alzheimer's from similar data, our main breakthrough is the accuracy of the algorithm, ” says Maskeliūnas.
Various methods are used to detect Alzheimer's right now, including eye tracking, voice analysis, and even the installation of sensors in people's homes—but AI methods like the one outlined in this new study promise to be faster and simpler.
12.What do we know about MCI
A.It can be identified by AI algorithm.
B.It can be easily discovered by people.
C.It is certainly caused by a certain disease.
D.It brings about apparent physical changes.
13.What is an advantage of human analysis of fMRI scans
A.More reliable. B.More accurate. C.Much faster. D.More flexible.
14.What's author's attitude to AI methods in identifying Alzheimer's
A.Doubtful. B.Neutral. C.Uncertain. D.Favorable.
15.Which can be the best title for the text
A.AI Gained a New Function in Health Care
B.AI Can Offer Early Treatment for Alzheimer's
C.AI Can Identify Signs of Alzheimer's with High Accuracy
D.Modern Technologies Are Helpful in Protecting Our Health
