课时重难点
课时重点:学习单词:horse ,cow ,hen 和 sheep 及其复数形式。学习肯定句These are sheep. 以及赞美的句子:Wow ! They are so cute! 2. 课时难点 :Sheep 的复数形式以及horse 复数形式的读音。
教学准备
1.本课时的动物单词卡片 2. 多媒体课件 3. 录制动物的叫声并制成课件。
六、教学过程:
Step 1 课前热身、导入(Warm up and revision) 1) Warm up Let’ s sing. ( Animals on the bus) T: Let’s sing and do with me. Cows on the bus sing “ Moo! Moo! Moo!” Horses on the bus sing “ Neigh! Neigh! Neigh!” … The students sing together and do the actions. T: Animals are on the bus. Where are they going To the farm or to the zoo. 引导学生回答 (To the farm.) T: Let’s go to the farm together. OK Here we go.
【设计意图】热身环节的歌曲节奏欢快,和本课的教学内容相契合。并且简单易学,朗朗上口,能够轻松地把学生带入到学习情境中,为本课的学习拉开了帷幕。
Revision Show Mr MacDonald’s farm. T: This is Mr MacDonald’s farm. What’s on the farm Let’s go and have a look. T: It’s a fruit garden. What are these Ss: They are apples… T: Let’s go to the next place. Vegetable garden. What are these Are these tomatoes Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. Now, we’re at the animal garden.
【设计意图】复习环节,通过参观果园,菜园,既运用了What are these They are…句型,又复习了以前学过的水果和蔬菜。加上选用的FUKSKY 动画大师场景的切换,学生如临其境,很自然的达到了复习效果。同时让学生对农场的分布有了清晰直观的认知,知道农场由三部分构成,即:果园、菜园、动物园。
Step 2新知呈现(Presentation) Learn the new words: hen cow horse goat sheep. 1. 场景一 (农场房屋前)学习单词hen T: Listen, What’s this 播放动物声音 Ss: It’s a pig. It’s a duck. (课件显示撒了一把小米) T: Who will come How many will come Let’s count. ten -hen It’s a hen. h-e-n hen (读单词发动物图片) T: Look, what are these 引导学生回答They are hens. They are ten hens. 2.场景二(农场围栏处)学习单词 cow horse T: What’s this (奶牛的身体被大树遮挡) Can you guess It’s a … Wow, it’s a cow. wow-cow. Can you read it (读单词发动物图片) T: What are these 引导学生回答They are cows.(课件显示问答句子) T: Look ,is that a cow 指向远处房子后只露出尾巴的小动物。 Oh, it’s a horse. or-horse (读单词发动物图片) What are… 把问句What are these 拖拽到远处,引导学生体会远近的区别。 these变成those 学习those这个单词 What are those They are horses. T: Can you ask your partner 学生利用手中的动物卡片进行问答。 3.场景三(农场草地上)学习单词 goat sheep T:Look ,the goat is on the boat. boat-goat学生自己试着拼读。(读单词发动物图片) T: What are these They are goats. Look, Is she a goat 其中一只山羊变成了绵羊。 No, she is a sheep. she-shee-sheep (读单词发动物图片) 绵羊跑远处去找伙伴了。What are those They are sheep.强调该单词单复数同行。 找学生进行远近动物替换,进行问答。
【设计意图】本课教学的重点是农场中动物类单词的学习,这五个动物单词的学习方式分别在三个不同场景中出现,利用FUKSKY 动画大师实现了场景的切换,与参观农场的情境吻合。同时动画大师酷炫的动画特效能有效吸引学生的注意力,起到强化教学内容,促进学生对学习内容理解的作用,同时也为保持学生有意注意的时长提供了保障。多样化的单词教学也激活了学生的思维,单词hen是由形近词ten引出,cow是由形近和形声词wow导出,goat是由boat形声词演变而成,sheep则是由形声字she和形声音字母p组合而成。这些新旧词的有机结合再一次巩固了字母组合的发音规律,而且使新单词音、形、意的教学在特定的情境中顺利完成,降低了单词教学的难度,学生自然会学得轻松愉快。
Step 3 Practise (练习强化) 1.煎鸡蛋 T:There are some eggs. When the eggs turn, you can read out the word. 出示鸡蛋,鸡蛋翻面,学生认读单词。 2.句型练一练 (动物以黑色剪影形式远近交替出现在小路上,学生通过剪影回答) T: Look, there’s a path. The animals will appear on the path. Who can come to ask Ask and answer. What are these/those They are... 3.猜房子里的小动物 T: What’s in the house You can guess. 学生用Are they… Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.句型进行问答。 歌曲 Cows on the farm sing moo moo moo. Horses on the farm sing neigh neigh neigh. Hens on the farm sing cluck cluck cluck. Sheep on the farm sing baa baa baa.
【设计意图】练习强化环节设计了三个活动,一是煎鸡蛋,比较有趣味性,学生通过认读单词,进一步巩固了所学单词。二是动物以黑色剪影形式远近交替出现是对What are these/those They are...句型的操练,既检验了学生对句型的掌握情况,也对本课动物单词的复数形式进一步进行了操练,培养了学生在具体语境中正确运用句型的能力。三是猜农场房子里的小动物,是对Are they Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.句型的进一步操练。三个强化练习也是在农场主情境中呈现,达到了在情境中运用所学语言,发展了语言能力的效果。最后通过欢快优美的歌曲形式让学生了解如何用英语描述动物的叫声,又和热身环节的歌曲相呼应。
Step 4巩固拓展(Consolidation) 1.文本呈现 T: Mr Macdonald has a lot of animals . What’s on Macdonald’s farm Let’s go and have a look. 播放41页Let’s talk.部分动画 2.听力训练 T: How many horses does Mr Macdonald have 17 horses. He also has a lot of animals on the farm. Do you want to know what they are Let’s Listen and tick. 1).listen and tick the animals on the paper. T: What’ s on the farm Ss: I have …. 2).Listen and write. T: How many animals Let’s listen again and write the numbers. Ss listen and write. T: How many hens/… do you have S: I have 20 hens/…. T: We know he has 17 horses. How many cows, goats, ducks and sheep Let’s ask Mr MacDonald. S: How many …(s) do you have T: Listen to MacDonald’s answer and write. Ss write then check. T: So many animals. The farm is so ______. Ss: The farm is so big.
【设计意图】最后在巩固拓展环节,设计了一系列有梯度的听说练习。通过听力来巩固所学的内容,听力练习由简到难,层次分明,逐渐加大难度。孩子们通过听短文,来完成手中的调查表。不仅练习了孩子们听的能力,同时也激活了学生的思维。最后还能让孩子们对农场主再次进行提问,更让孩子们在交流中锤炼了语言。这个活动是对学生全方位的培养与训练。这样,在“农场”这个主题意义的引领下,通过学习理解、应用实践,融语言、文化、思维于一体,帮助学生提高听、说、认、读等语言技能,并在这一过程中,整合语言知识,发展语言技能。
3.Design your own farm.学生根据获得的奖励设计自己的农场。
4.展示自己的农场,给自己的农场起个名字,可以小组配合进行描述。Happy farm. Lucky farm. Big farm. Little farm and so on .
5.欣赏《农场里的小动物》绘本故事。渗透情感教育,人与自然要和谐共生。
【设计意图】本课拓展环节的设计农场,展示农场环节是对学生全方位的培养与训练。设计农场环节和展示农场环节需要小组协作共同完成,体现了小组合作和团队的力量,也达到了提升学生运用语言知识,强化语言技能的目的。学生小组设计完自己的农场并展示描述农场之后,带学生去观看现实生活中的农场,让学生身临其境的走进农场,使本课的主题得到升华,渗透了爱自然,保护环境,人与自然和谐共生的情感教育。
Step 5 家庭作业(Homework) Draw your ideal farm, then introduce your farm to your parents or friends.
【设计意图】通过本节课的学习,学生们参观了麦克唐纳的卡通农场,又看到了真实的最大的小小农场,再去画出自己理想中农场的样子,既给了学生动手操作的机会,也给了孩子们更多想象的空间,培养学生的思维能力,为学生的创新意识提供了条件。
