1．photo n．照片。它是可数名词，其复数形式为photos。常用短语：a photo of 一张……的照片；take a photo/take photos 拍照。【拓展】以 o结尾的可数名词变复数形式时在词尾加 s或 es。如：radio→radios 无线电；tomato→tomatoes西红柿；potato→potatoes 土豆；Negro→Negroes黑人；hero→heroes英雄。
Language points
2．of prep.属于(某人或某物)；关于(某人或某物)。它表示无生命的事物的所属关系。【拓展】表示有生命的事物的所属关系时，在名词后加’s。但是在以s结尾的复数名词后直接加’。如：my father’s name 我父亲的名字；Fathers’ Day 父亲节。
3．next adj.下一个(的)，接下来(的)。常用搭配：the next day 第二天；next week 下一周；next to 紧邻，毗连。
4．picture n. 图画；照片。它意为“照片”时相当于photo。但picture意为“图画”时，不能和photo换用。
5．in the first photo 在第一张照片中。【辨析】in the photo与on the photo。这两个短语都意为“在照片中”，但是它们的含义不同。in the photo强调照片上的内容；on the photo表示把某物摆放在照片上。类似用法的短语还有：in/on the picture 在图片上。
6．here adv.(用以介绍某人或某物)这就是；在这里。

（1）在英语中，把东西介绍给对方时，常用Here be(is/are) ...这一倒装句型。其中be动词的单复数并不取决于here，而是由其后真正的主语决定。主语是可数名词单数时用be动词is，主语是可数名词复数时，用be动词are。

以上例句中的主语是a book，句子的语序不能随意改变。但是如果主语是代词时，则主语位于be动词前。

（2）“某人的家庭照片”有两种说法；a photo of one’s family=one’s family photo
【拓展】①of作介词，意为“……的。”在英语中表示无生命的所有格，一般用of 构成短语来表示所属关系。
Coco is the name of my dog.
②photo一般特指“拍摄的图片”，即照片，相当于picture,但是picture也做“图画”讲，此时不能与photo互换，注意photo的复数为photos。

（1）该句也是一个倒装句，起强调作用，其正确的位置为：

（2）在某个图片中用in。
