Step1 Warming up
Enjoy a Happy Birthday song and sing together.
Free talk:
(1) What presents do you usually get on your birthday
(2) What do you usually do when you get presents
(3) Do you open your gift at once or later
3.Guess: What do people in other countries usually do when they get presents
Step2 Listening
1.Listen and number the words and expressions as you hear them.
2.Match the words with the pictures in Activity1.
3.Listen again and answer:
(1)Does she like chocolates
(2)What present do they want to buy for Lingling
(3)What can she do with the gift
Step3 Listening and reading
Listen and answer: When can people open the present in China
Watch the video about the dialogue, and then fill in the blanks.
Read the dialogue in groups and check the true sentences.
