一、邀请
1.发出邀请：当用情态动词can发出邀请时，要用其一般疑问句形式。
Can you /he /they+动词原形…？
can在此句型中表示请求的语气，意为“能；可以”。
2.接受邀请：表示接受邀请，可以说“Sure, I’d love to.” 即“当然，我很愿意。”，其中to不可以省略。或者说：“Sure, I think he/she/they will.” “当然，我想他/她/他们会的。”“Sure. That sounds good.” “当然，那听起来不错”。
3.拒绝邀请：表示拒绝邀请时，可以用sorry表示委婉拒绝，再用“情态动词+动词原形”或“be+ v.-ing”结构表达不得不做什么或要去做什么来说明理由。替他人拒绝时，可以回答“No, he/she/they can’t.”或者“He/She isn’t. They aren’t available.” 然后再用“have to”或“be+ v.-ing”来说明理由。
注意：can 在邀请中可以用could代替，语气更委婉。

【have to与must用法辨析】
（1）have to 强调因客观原因而“不得不”，有时态、人称和数的变化，其第三人称单数为has to，过去式为had to。由have to构成的句子，变为一般疑问句要借助动词do/does/did。
（2）must强调主观上的“必须”，没有人称和数的变化，其句型变换无需借助动词。
