单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与社会 ”范畴,本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一!第二单元的内容,本单元介绍了国内外不同的节日,文化气息浓郁,教学内容丰富。本单元一同学们熟悉的传统节日开始,而且八年级已经学过一些相关的内容,素材来源于学生生活,同学们就有表达的欲望和诉求。而教材中Section B又围绕西方的两个节日展开,侧重两个节日的文化内涵,让学生更深层次地理解西方文化。这也激发了学生的学习兴趣,提高了他们的学习效率。 通过对本单元的学习,最终使学生能够明白关爱、同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富,人人应当将之继承及弘扬,以爱心汇报社会;同时,通过中西方文化差异对比,树立文化自信。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:学习理解层面,学生能够通过听、说、读、写更深层次地理解中西放文化,并通过学习树立文化自信,增强国家情怀,形成结构行知识。 目标b:应用实践层面,学生能够使用与节日相关的词语、使用宾语从句和感叹句表达自己的观点和态度。 目标c:迁移创新层面,通过学习有关“节日”的文章,从而学习如何向他人介绍我国传统文化,书写“说明文”弘扬和传播传统文化。 目标d:迁移创新层面,完成本单元学习后,学生能够意识到关爱、同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富,人人应当将之继承及弘扬,以爱心回报社会。 与核心素养的关系: 在大单元主题理念下,将本单元碎片化的知识以“子主题”形式有效整合,是落实英语学科素养的有效手段,通过本单元的学习,在语言能力方面,学生能够使用词汇、宾语从句、感叹句来表达观点和态度;在文化意识方面,通过中西方节日的对比,学生能够正确认识中西方文化差异,增加家国情怀,树立文化自信;在学习能力方面,学生能够通过网络提前搜集节日相关信息,构建知识体系,并且能在理解故事内容的基础上,对情节发展和人物性格做处合理的推论;在思维品质方面,学生能够意识到关爱,同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富,人人应当将之继承及弘扬,以爱心回报社会。

Section B 1a-1e 听说课 第三课时 学生能够使用与节日相关的词语,以及各种描述行词语等、使用宾语从句和感叹句表达自己的观点和态度。 通过问题启发式评价引导学生,评价学生对语篇主题的理解;通过个人思考和合作交流,评价学生主动参与到学习中的能力。

教材(语篇)分析: 【what】 本节课是一节听说课。首先通过节日图片向学生呈现中国的传统节日,回忆这些节日的名称以及与这些节日有关的文化专属用语,并引入相关短语。 【why】 这是本单元的第一课时,应该提示学生听说能力,让他们体会本单元主题语言及文化内容,建立一定的感性认识。 【how】 因为这是本单元的第一课时,在整个单元中起着话题导入,帮助学生热身的作用,内容贴近学生生活,课堂任务应侧重于培养学生的语言实践能力。 同时通过简单的听力活动输入新的语言,发展学生的听说能力。
学情分析: 自然情况 在学习本单元之前,学生在七年级和八年级已经学习过一些中外节日的词汇和句型。 (二)已有基础 对于本课时的学习内容,大部分学生已经有了一定的了解,而且中外节日是学生比较感兴趣的话题,这是学习本课的优势。
(三)存在问题
到了九年级,学生出现分化现象,由对学生语言基础薄弱,语言拓展的运用能力比较差,而且学习缺乏耐性。 (四)解决措施 教师可以安排这些同学通过复习七年级和八年级相关内容,熟悉本单元话题,鼓励学生积极学习,激发学习兴趣。
教学目标: 通过本课学习,学生能够: 学生能学会重点词汇以及目标语言。 (学习理解) 重点单词及短语:mooncake , lantern, stranger , relative, pound , put on , in two weeks , sound like , be similar to , throw water at each other , wash away , have good luck . 目标语言:-Bill thinks that the races were not that interesting to watch . But I believe that April is the hottest month of the year there. I wonder if it’s similar to the Water Festival of Dai people in Yunnan Province . 通过学习本单元的内容,初步掌握宾语从句的用法。 (应用实践) 在听的过程中体验并感知目标语言的内容,学会提取所需要的关键信息。 (迁移创新)

教学反思与改进 通过本节课的学习,学生们基本上能掌握宾语从句句型。但个别学生仍需要单独训练。若要熟练,应该加强训练!通过大量的训练,相信效果会更好一些! 本课首先接触宾语从句中陈述句结构,学生基本能够理解并运用,口语表达与书写要加强。
