Tip 1:过去完成时
(1) 一件事情发生在过去,而另外一件事情先于它发生(即表“过去的过去”),那么发生前的动词要用过去完成时。
(2) 表示从过去某一时间开始,一直延续到过去的另一时间的动作,常用的时间状语有:by/until/before/ by the end of…
(3)用于一些固定句型中 如:It was+一段时间+since从句+ had done.
It/That/ This was the first/second time +that 从句+had done.

Tip 2:进行体的用法 was/were doing is/am/are doing will/shall be doing
过去的/现在的/将来的某一时刻或阶段内正在进行的动作或存在的状态,具有暂时性和未完成性的特点;
表示某阶段正在进行的动作或发生的事,虽然当时动作不一定正在进行,常与these days / this week连用。
表示反复出现的或习惯性的动作,往往含有赞赏、厌恶、遗憾等情绪,常与always/constantly, forever, all the time连用。

Tip 3:过去将来时的用法
1. 概念:表示从过去某个时间看即将发生的动作或存在的状态。过去将来时由“should / would + 动词原形”构成。
2. 常见时间状语标志:通常在宾语从句中出现,主句谓语动词为过去时态。
Tip 4 一般将来时
1. 概念:表示将来发生的动作或存在的状态,以及打算、计划或准备做某事。
2. 常见时间状语标志:tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next day / week / month / year…, this week / month / year, soon, in + 时间状语 (如in one hour / in a few minutes等),in the future, in future等。
