物主代词有两种，包括形容词性物代词和名词性物主代词。
形容词性物主代词: my your his her its our your their
名词性物主代词: mine yours his hers its ours yours theirs
Grammar
形容词性物主代词只作定语，一般出现在名词之前。名词性物主代词不能作定语只作主语，宾语和表语。
名词性物主代词的实际意义等于: 形容词性物主代词 + 名词。使用名词性物主代词，主要是为了避免重复使用前面出现的名词。
e.g.
This is my hat and that is yours (=your hat).
She knows my father. And I know his (=his father).
Your bag is here. Ours (=Our bag) is over there.

This is mine (=my book) and that is hers (=her book).
