教学过程
【导入】Step 1 Warming up 
1. Greeting.
2. Play a game: Me, too.
If we’re the same, try to stand up and say “Me, too!”
3. Let’s enjoy a song. (Months of the year.)
师引导学生看视频,说唱儿歌,达到激发学生兴趣和复习月份单词的目的。
4. Review and lead in
1) You just did a job. So I want to introduce a friend to you, Mr. Year. He is a handsome daddy.
And he has 12 handsome sons. You just met them. Let's call out their names loudly.
Do you know the name of the month I’ll show you some letters. And you should tell me the months as quickly as you can.
2) Children, today Miss Chen will also take you to know a beautiful mommy.
Her name is Mrs. Season. Mommy Season has four beautiful daughters.
Then can you guess who the four beautiful girls are (Ask Ss to answer it)
Shall we call out their names together (板书)
【讲授】Step 2 Presentation 
1. 教师通过设计师生问答和PPT展示完成课文新授
a. T: How many seasons are there in a year
Ss: Four. Then how many groups are there in our class
So I’ll divide you into spring, summer, autumn and winter group.
If you do a good job, you’ll get a sticker. And you can stick it on the Bb.
T: How many months are there in a year
Ss: Twelve. T: How many months are there in each season
Ss: Three. There are four seasons in a year. Each season has three months. (字母组合ea /i:/ )

Look at the word, can you read it
OK! Season has the letters ”e” and “a” , it reads /i:/ , follow me /i:/.
So how to read this word “each” “Each” here means “every”.
b. T: Great! There are four seasons in a year. And there are twelve months in a year.
So each season has three months. Which is the first season, then
Ss: It’s spring.
T: Which months are in spring in China Do you know
Ss: March, April and May.
T: You are right. Spring begins from March. It is from March to May.

Can you guess what’s the meaning of “begin from” and “from…to…”
c. T: What about this season
It’s very hot. So I like eating ice-creams and wearing skirts in this season.

Ss: Summer.
T: Which months are in summer
Ss: June, July and August.
T: So summer begins from June. It is from June to August.
Summer begins from June. It is from June to August.

d. T: So many fruits in this season. What season is it
Ss: Autumn.
T: When does autumn begin
T/Ss: Autumn begins from September.
T: Which months are in autumn
Ss: September, October and November.
Autumn begins from September. It is from September to November.

3. Read and judge.(教师提出问题,让学生带着问题通读课文,并回答问题。)

4. Read after the tape.(教师让学生模仿其语音语调跟读课文。)

【活动】Step 3 Practice activities
1. Group work.
四人一组朗读课文,前两句和最后三句集体朗读,而有关四个季节的句子则每人读一句。
2. Read and match!小组合作:把月份放入所属的季节
Read the passage and match it. Work in groups.
