1. 介词短语修饰名词或代词只能作后置
定语。
the bird in the tree 树上的那只小鸟 the map on the wall 墙上的地图 the life in the future 未来的生活
the development of China 中国的发展 the standard of living 生活水平
2. so 作连词, 表示“所以”、“因此”。
e.g. It was raining, so he didn’t go out.
天在下雨, 所以他没出去。
注意: 在这里so不可与as/because连
用。
3. not at all 一点也不;别客气
一、用于回答感谢,“不用谢;不客气”。
e.g. A:Thank you very much. 非常感谢。
B:Not at all. 不客气。
二、用于回答带有感谢性质的客套话,
“没什么;哪里哪里”。
e.g. A:You are very kind. 你真好。
B:Not at all. 没什么。
三、用于回答道歉,意为“没关系”。
e.g. A: I’m sorry I’m late.
对不起,我迟到了。
B: Oh, not at all, do come in.
噢,没关系,请进来。
四、用来表示否定 (是no的加强说
法),意为“一点也不;完全不”。
e.g. A: Are you busy 你忙吗
B: Not at all. 一点也不忙。
4. many & much, a little & a few
1) many & much
many和much 都有“许多”的意思,仔细观察下列例句,将结论部分补充完整。
e.g.
1. There are many students in the
classroom.

【结论】
由1和2我们发现many后接可数名词的_____形式;又由3注意到many 可与how构成短语how many, 意为“多少”,用来询问可数名词的数量。
观察4和5注意到much 后面接_______名词。much也可与how构成短语how much, 意为“多少”,用来询问不可数名词的数量。

人称代词
代词(pronoun)是指代或替代名词或名词词组的词类,包括人称代词、物主代词、反身代词、相互代词、指示代词、疑问代词、关系代词和不定代词。
人称代词里的主格放在句首做主语和表语,宾格放在句末或句中做动词和介词的宾语。打个比方,主人邀请宾客,主格就像主人,宾格就像宾客。主格在动词(行为动词、be动词、情态动词等)前面,宾格在动词或介词后面。
1. 人称一致
人称代词作主语通常要与随后的动词保持人称的一致。
e.g. I am a teacher.
You are a student.
He is a doctor.
She is a nurse.
It is a computer.
2. 数的一致
人称代词应与它的先行项在单、复数形
式上保持一致。
e.g. Jenny is a teacher. She works at our school.
They are all made in China.
You, Mike and Andy have finished your work. You can go.
3. 格的选择
人称代词作主语用主格,作宾语用宾格。
e.g. I teach him Chinese.
He teaches me English.
人称代词在介词之后常用宾格。
e.g. I brought some story books for them.
They are talking about me.
Most of us like learning English.
人称代词在动词be之后常用宾格。
