教学目标
1、知识目标（Knowledge aim）
能够听说读写有关天气的单词：
weather report sunny cloudy rainy snowy windy
2、能力目标 (Ability aim)
能用所学单词和句型描述天气情况，逐步培养学生运用语言的能力。
3、情感目标（Emotion aim）
教育孩子们要热爱大自然，从小做起，爱护花草树木，保护环境。
重点难点
重 点 ：
句型：What’s the weather like today It’s … .
词汇：weather report sunny cloudy rainy snowy windy
难 点：
能在实际生活中和一定情境中正确应用所学单词及句型。
教学过程
【导入】（一）、热身（Warm ing－up）
1、教师和学生进行简单问候（Greetings）。
2、教师播放What’s the weather like today 让学生一齐跟唱，初步感
知有关天气的单词。
【讲授】（二）、新课呈现（Presentation）
① Today I’m very happy, because May Day is coming. I will go traveling. I will go to Beijing first. I will go to the Palace Museum, then I will go to the Great Wall.（简笔画出示图片，根据图片教授新单词，引出句子：Where will you go ）
[设计意图] 通过介绍May Day is coming.自己将要去的旅游地点及名胜古迹，出示简笔画，由简笔画引出地点新词，形象，直观，让孩子一目了然，更容易记忆。
②板书句子：Where will you go I will….（Ask students to practice.）
③ 提出问题：Where will Alice go on the holiday
④ Take out the paper: Listen to the tape and answer the questions.
Questions: A. Where will Alice go
B. Who will go with her
C. What is the Palace Museum like
⑤ Listen to the tape again and check answers.
⑥ Listen to the tape and repeat.（注意语音、语调 。）
[设计意图] 通过初次听录音找出所给问题的答案，帮助孩子们整体感知课文内容。再次听录音找出答案，帮助孩子们了解课文大意。重复听录音并模仿读课文，关注孩子们的语音语调。
3、教师出示天气预报图片并播报天气情况，然后引出新词weather report。依次课件出现图片sunny cloudy windy snowy rainy，分别学习单词,渗透句型“ What’s the weather like today ”。
4、单词游戏：
Look and guess（看课件图片猜单词）师问生答。
5、Do the listening exercises (老师播放听力材料，学生选择，并检查答案)
6、单词游戏：
单词送回家（把单词贴在相对应的图画旁）。
【练习】（三）、巩固练习（Consolidation）
1、教师出示课件图片，请学生描述天气。（Group work）
2、教师请学生做天气播报员,让学生在说的过程中进一步突破难点，提升能力。
【练习】四）、拓展练习 (Extension)
教师出示有关恶劣的天气图片，让学生意识到保护环境的重要性，从小树立环保意识。
【作业】（五）、家庭作业（Homework）：
1、Copy the new words 5 times each.
2、Watch a weather report on TV and take down some notes about the weather forecast for tomorrow, then write a report about it.
