1. It’s time to do sth. / It time for sth. 都表示“是做某事的时候了”。
e.g. It’s time to go to school.
是上学的时候了。
It’s time for sth. 但这个句型中介词for的
后面只能是表示物的名词，说明所要做
的事情。例如：
It’s time for class. 是上课的时候了。
注意：It’s time to do sth. 和It’s time for sth.可相互转换。例如：
It’s time for supper.
= It’s time to have supper. 该吃晚饭了。
It’s time for home.
= It’s time to go home. 该回家了。
It’s time for sb. to do sth. 意为“是某人做
某事的时候了”; 如：
It’s time for you to go to school.
是你上学的时候了。
It’s time for us to watch TV.
到了我们看电视的时候了。
2. go的用法很灵活，到目前为止，我们学习了哪些有关它的用法呢？下面我们一起来梳理一下。

请仔细观察下列例句，然后将“结论”部分补充完整。
1) Go to ask your mother!
= Go and ask your mother!去问你妈妈！
2) I’d like to go to the zoo. 我想去动物园。
3) I don’t want to go there / go home.
我不想去那儿 / 回家。
4) Mike often goes shopping / fishing with his father.
迈克常常和他爸爸一起去购物 / 钓鱼。
【结论】
通过观察上面的例句，我们可以看出：
1) go的基本意思是“离开原来的地方到别处去”，用作不及物动词时，后面常跟带______的动词不定式，即go to do sth.，在非正式语中，这种结构常可变为go and do sth.。当表示去哪里时，go后需要跟介词______，再跟表示地点的名词。

若go后面跟表示地点的副词there, home等时，它后面的介词______要省略。
2) go还可用作及物动词，其后直接跟v-ing形式，用来表示“去做某项活动”，如例句4中的go shopping意为“_________”，go fishing意为“_________”。
