当主句和从句主语一致且从句中有be动词时，可省略从句的主语和be动词

1、 用when引导的状语从句表示时间，说明一个动作发生的时候，另一个动作正在进行。如：
My pen dropped on the ground when/while I was walking in the park.
2、用when引导的时间状语从句也可以表示某一个动作正在进行时，另一个动作突然发生。意为：就在那时，突然
