Teaching : Step 1 Warming up/ Lead-in 1. Introduce the competition between boys and girls. 2. Brain storming: What can you buy as presents 3. Make a summary of the key words and expressions. 4: Think about it: Decide the presents for people in the case, lead out the reason. Step 2 Reading 1. Fast reading 2. Detail reading1: choosing the correct answers. 3. Detail reading 2: likes and choice Step 4 Reading aloud Read aloud: Students read after the tape and then read by themselves for 3 minutes. Retell the passage. Step 5 Moral guidance: As a present, it doesn’t need to be expensive, but a right one.
