单元主题 意义 本单元围绕一些自然知识展开的话题。主要学习围绕我们身边的自然现象的句型问答，在冬季天上会掉落什么：What falls down from the sky in winter 在周末我们会做些什么以及做这些事的目的是亲近自然的句型问答 What do you do on weekends 以及描述某人离了什么就不能做什么事的句式: We cannot live without water/air. 体验大自然的多样与重要性，从而树立热爱自然、保护自然的意识。
教学内容分析 1.来源&内容： 本单元来自北京版英语四年级上册的第七个单元。本单元围绕一些自然知识展开的话题，能初步运用How’s the weather in Sydney 及答语，结合实际天气情况进行简单交际，能用“Ice/…can become water/ ….”说出冰、水、雨、雪的变化；初步运用Where does he live 和He lives…询问某人居住地并且回答；初步运用We/…can’t live without water/…. 在日常生活情境中表达人与自然的关系，在所提供的情境中进行对话。 2.纵向知识关联： 功能：询问并回答，描述，介绍，表达。 话题：描述、介绍一些自然知识。 语言知识： 2(上)Unit 2 What do you do on Sunday What do you do on Sunday 3（上）Unit 5 It’s a nice autumn day— What’s the weather like today, Mum — It’s sunny.5(上)Unit 6 What are your favourite sports My grandma goes skiing every winter.
3.横向知识关联： 第七单元L23初步运用How’s the weather in Sydney 及答语，结合实际天气情况进行简单交际，能用“Ice/…can become water/… .”说出冰、水、雨、雪的变化； L24初步运用Where does he live 和He lives…询问某人居住地并且回答； L25初步运用We/…can’t live without water/… . 在日常生活情境中表达人与自然的关系。 三课都需要重点学习和不断强化的是： 1.能够熟练掌握事物之间转变和相互依存的表达方式； 2. 能够熟练掌握如何询问某地的天气情况，并能在实际情境中运用； 3.通过对大自然的描述,激发学生对大自然的热爱；关注身边的事物,热爱生活，从小事做起； 4. 了解大自然，了解世界各地风情。 4.单元探究设计：
学情分析 1.年龄特征： 四年级的学生大概处在十岁左右,这个阶段的儿童注意不稳定、不持久，难于长时间地注意同一件事物,容易被一些新奇刺激的事物所吸引。所以他们对课件里的动画和能动、发声的教具感兴趣。另一方面他们感知事物的特点比较笼统,不精确,往往只注意到一些孤立的现象,看不出事物之间的联系和特点,对时间和空间的概念也比较模糊，如做作业时,由于孩子的感知觉发展不够充分，经常看错题、有学生会bd不分，抄错单词，而且在教师指出时，他们仍然意识不到错误出在哪里，这些现象在孩子身上或多或少都会有。 2.知识储备： 本单元围绕一些自然知识展开的话题，学生们学过和接触过的句型有: When does it rain Where do you go 句型问答。在之前的英语学习中，学生们学过有关季节的单词，表示天气状况的单词snow, rain等表示自然事物地名词，特殊疑问词:What, when, where，以及一些动词词组。为本单元的学习奠定了基础。 3.能力水平： 四年级的学生已具备已经能够基本掌握了英语的基本语法规则，并且能够基本运用英语进行日常交流；能在实际情景中进行向他人寻求帮助，和为他人提供帮助的相关表达。
单元目标 在本单元教学结束之际，学生能： 1. 能听、说、读、写核心词汇become, clever, ice, walk, interesting, close, farmer, lake, say, air, live。 2. 能在语境中学习句型—Rain becomes snow in winter. —Ice can become water. —How is the weather in Sydney —Bad. It's raining hard. —Where does he live —He lives on the farm. —We can't live without water or air. 3.通过对大自然的描述,激发学生对大自然的热爱。 4.引导学生关注身边的事物,热爱生活，从小事做起。
第四课时教学设计
一、教学目标
通过本课学习，学生能够：
1.在看、听、说的活动中，获取和梳理对话信息，巩固复习本单元谈论自然相关话题所使用的核心语言： —How is the weather in … —Bad./Fine. It’s …. —Where does … live — … live in/on …. We/…can’t live without water/… . 了解元音字母o和字母组合al的发音规律，并能根据规律拼读单词;(学习理解）
2.在教师和同伴的帮助下，分角色表演对话，演绎对话场景，呈现核心语言在真实语境中的运用，并会对其中的语言、行为以及同伴的表现进行多角度评价；（应用实践）
3.在小组内进行真实语境的创设，巩固复习本单元谈论自然相关话题内容；体验大自然的多样与重要性，从而树立热爱自然、保护自然的意识。（迁移创新）
