第一节(满分 15分)Possible version:
Last Friday, the School Union organized a special activity, A Flower for You, to
express gratitude and appreciation, which turned out to be a meaningful and
heartwarming event.
During the activity, the students gave flowers made by themselves in advance to
whoever they believe deserves them - a friend, a family member, a teacher or even a
stranger. The small gesture reminded those receiving flowers that they were
appreciated, and it really brightened their day. As for the students encouraged to send
flowers, it was also a chance for them to express themselves bravely.
It is true that flowers are something that can make the world brighter. They have
made a difference to not only the people who received the heartfelt gift but also the
flower senders.

第二节(满分 25分)Possible version:
I couldn’t help working over to him as he was looking for his glasses anxiously. I
knelt down, picked them up and helped him wear his glasses. Tears flooding his eyes,
he whispered “Thank you” and lowered his face to avoid my eyes. A wave of
sympathy welled up inside me. “Would you like to go to the basketball court with
me ”, I blurted out. He looked up at me in disbelief. “Go and enjoy the weekend with
me, will you ” I repeated, keeping my eyes fixed on him and knelt down again to
collect his other things. To my surprise, Kyle accepted my invitation. He followed me
to meet my companions and even cheered for my skillful defense, lays-up and
three-point shooting. What greatly impressed me that day was his smile, a big grateful
smile to me.
Having been to the basketball court with me, Kyle began to help me with my
study. He knew I was weak at maths so he often pushed me to go over the textbook to
make sure I understood the maths formulas. And he also helped me apply the
formulas to dealing with maths exercises. It seemed that he was never tired of doing
that! I didn’t realize my progress in maths until one day I worked out a difficult maths
problem that had been quite hard for me before. From that day, maths was not a tough
rock to me while Kyle became a good basketball player. When we were both awarded
as outstanding graduates, we smiled knowingly to each other. We knew we would
always remember that afternoon when we began our friendship.
