教学目标
1、知识目标 学习怎样用英语表达不同的天气，掌握相关的单词：sunny rainy cloudy windy snowy hot warm cool cold.和句型：What’s the weather like today It’s 并能综合运用新、旧知识组织对话完成一定交际任务。
2、情感目标 激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学习积极性，引导学生积极与他人合作，在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。
3、能力目标 培养学生的观察力、想象力、动手操作能力，提高学生感受美、欣赏美的水平，发展学生综合运用语言的能力。
4、德育目标 培养学生热爱大自然、保护环境的良好品德。
教学重点
创设语言情景，使学生正确理解和运用所学知识用英语表达不同的天气情况。 教学难点
激发学生的求知欲，创设各种真实或接近真实的语言环境，让学生体验参与，主动学习不同天气的表达法。
课前准备 1、CAI课件； 2、“晴、雨、阴、风、雪”天气图片。 3、一杯热水；一瓶凉水；一瓶冰水。
学生情况分析
学生的年龄在九、十岁左右，生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、特别感兴趣。学生英语的英语水平参差不齐，有的可能说得不好，有的还不敢说，课堂上要以表扬为主，注重培养学习英语的兴趣，鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力学。
教学步骤：
Step1.Free talk
1. Say “Hello”.
2. T: Do you like sports (师分别与单个学生对话。)
3. T: Let’s do some sports. (师生共说、做表示体育运动的词组。) Step2.Introduction
1. T: I like watching TV. And I like watching sports. Do you like watching sports
Ss：Yes.
T: OK. Let’s watch TV.
2．（课件播放一段天气预报视频。）
T: What’s it on
Ss: Weather report.
T: Yes. It’s the weather report.（师生分大小声操练词组：weather report.）
T: Today we’ll learn what’s the weather like today？ 课件显示课题。板书并分组朗读。讲解课题的意思。)
Step3. Presentation
(1) Learn the words: sunny rainy cloudy windy snowy.
1.(师画一个太阳) T: It’s a sun.(点名读.) （CAI显示一幅晴天图。）
T: What’s the weather like today
Ss: It’s sunny.（教学单词。图片分组读、开火车读。）
2．同法教学单词rainy cloudy windy snowy.
Step 4.Drill
1. Play a game___ Yes or No.师读新授单词。生听。如果师读对了。生就说做“Yes”；反之则说做“No”。
2. 猜词游戏。师把图片反面让生猜；师猜，生问师答；一名学生上台猜，其他学生问。
Step5. Presentation
(2) Learn the words: hot warm cool cold.
1. T: In sunny days. It’s hot and warm.（板书hot.动作、手指游戏教学hot.）
2.（师倒出一杯热水）T: It’s hot.（让生感受并说句子。）
3.（师喝热水）T: It’s too hot. （师往杯中倒入一些凉水）T: It’s warm now. （板书warm.动作、手指游戏教学warm.）
4. （师拿出一瓶凉水）
T: Is it warm
Ss: No.
T: It’s cool. （板书cool.动作、手指游戏教学cool.）
T: How’s it
S1: It’s cool.
T: Pass it.（生传递并说句子。）
5.（师拿出一瓶冰水）
T: It is cold.
Ss: It’s cold. （板书cold动作、手指游戏教学cold.）
T: How’s it
S1: It’s cold（生传递并说句子。）
Step 6.Drill
1. 师口型说单词，生猜。
2. T: It’s in spring now. The weather is changeable. We should change our clothes according to the weathers. Now let’s choose the clothes for FuWa. (CAI)
T: What’s the weather like
Ss: It’s cold.
T: Which one would you like No 1 No2 No3 Or No4 （CAI与生互动。） 3. T: What’s the weather like today
Ss: It’s rainy.
T: It’s rainy in Hengyang today. Do you want to know what’s the weather like in other cities
Ss: Yes. (CAI显示全国各地天气预报图)
T: Which city do you want to know (操练句型。)
Step7. Practice the dialogue
1. Listen to the CAI.
2. Read after the CAI.
3. Read it in characters.
4. Act it out.
Step8. Homework
