本课是陕西旅游版五年级上册Unit 3《Spring begins from March》的第三课时,本单元在第2单元学习了四季的情景及其相关活动的基础上,学习每个季节所含的月份,并能运用功能结构Which is your favorite season Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter. Why Because …It is …The trees…The flowers…The mountains…I can …There are four seasons in a year .Each season…在日常生活中灵活自如地谈论各自喜欢的季节及原因。本课时以Part B中的Let’s learn more为主,学习陈述每个季节所属的月份。 学情分析 学生在第2单元已经学习了四季的情景及其相关活动,本节课将在此基础上学习陈述每个季节所属的月份。
教学目标
1.能运用There are four seasons in a year. Each season…谈论四季月份的划分。
2.能听、说、熟读课文,语音语调准确自然。
3.能在实际生活中灵活自如地运用所学的词汇和句型描述季节月份的划分,达到学以致用的目的。
教学重、难点:
每个季节所包含的月份。 学会运用What’s your favorite month
How many months are there in a year 等句型结构的运用。

Ⅱ.课程展示活动和过程的设计建议(Presentation) 学习Let’s learn more部分的对话。
1.教师可通过师生问答完成课文新授。
T: Which months are in spring?
Ss:March,April and May.
T: Yes, you are right. Spring begins from March.
板书句子:Spring begins from March.
Spring is from March to May.
T: What about summer (引导学生作答)
T&Ss: Summer begins from June. Summer is from June to August.
T: What about autumn/ winter
T&Ss: Autumn begins from September. Autumn is from September to November. Winter begins from December. Winter is from December to February.
(在读的过程中,让学生发现春季和秋季所用begins from句式;夏季和冬季使用from…to句式。)
教师补充:New Year is on January 1st.

2. 学生通过自读,分组读,集体读等不同的方式读课文,熟悉课文。
3. 试着复述课文。
