单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与社会 ”范畴，本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一!第二单元的内容，本单元介绍了国内外不同的节日，文化气息浓郁，教学内容丰富。本单元一同学们熟悉的传统节日开始，而且八年级已经学过一些相关的内容，素材来源于学生生活，同学们就有表达的欲望和诉求。而教材中Section B又围绕西方的两个节日展开，侧重两个节日的文化内涵，让学生更深层次地理解西方文化。这也激发了学生的学习兴趣，提高了他们的学习效率。 通过对本单元的学习，最终使学生能够明白关爱、同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富，人人应当将之继承及弘扬，以爱心汇报社会；同时，通过中西方文化差异对比，树立文化自信。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习，学生能够： 目标a：学习理解层面，学生能够通过听、说、读、写更深层次地理解中西放文化，并通过学习树立文化自信，增强国家情怀，形成结构行知识。 目标b：应用实践层面，学生能够使用与节日相关的词语、使用宾语从句和感叹句表达自己的观点和态度。 目标c：迁移创新层面，通过学习有关“节日”的文章，从而学习如何向他人介绍我国传统文化，书写“说明文”弘扬和传播传统文化。 目标d：迁移创新层面，完成本单元学习后，学生能够意识到关爱、同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富，人人应当将之继承及弘扬，以爱心回报社会。 与核心素养的关系： 在大单元主题理念下，将本单元碎片化的知识以“子主题”形式有效整合，是落实英语学科素养的有效手段，通过本单元的学习，在语言能力方面，学生能够使用词汇、宾语从句、感叹句来表达观点和态度；在文化意识方面，通过中西方节日的对比，学生能够正确认识中西方文化差异，增加家国情怀，树立文化自信；在学习能力方面，学生能够通过网络提前搜集节日相关信息，构建知识体系，并且能在理解故事内容的基础上，对情节发展和人物性格做处合理的推论；在思维品质方面，学生能够意识到关爱，同情及怜悯之心是人类社会的宝贵财富，人人应当将之继承及弘扬，以爱心回报社会。

教材（语篇）分析： 【what】 本节课是一节写作复习课。活动3a-3b是相互联系的一个整体任务. 【why】 首先通过图文引导学生回忆本单元所学的主要相关内容，继而用所学的主要单词短语以及目标语写最喜欢的中国或者国外的节日；最后是关于宾语从句和感叹句的相关巩固性练习。 【how】 通过3a-Selfcheck 一系列的活动，训练学生整理信息能力， 训练写作能力，培养学生的自主学习能力。
学情分析： 自然情况 本单元已经基本结束，学生对结构、功能还是话题都有了一定的了解和掌握。 （二）已有基础 能够初步运用本单元的宾语从句和感叹句以及相关的话题都有了一定了解，并且能够初步运用。 （三）存在问题
但再细心方面或者细节方面还有出错的地方。 （四）解决措施 加以必要的练习，才能达到较好的效果。
