Module 8 Unit 2 Why are you wearing a hat
一、学习目标
(一)目标确定依据
1.相关课程标准论述
(1)能根据拼读的规律,读出简单的单词;
(2)能借助图片,图像,手势听懂简单的话语或录音材料;
(3)能在教师的帮助和图片的提示下,描述或讲述简单的小故事;
(4)能正确朗读所学故事或短文;
(5)能根据图片、词语或例句的提示,说出简短的语句。
(6)了解简单的拼读规律,了解单词有重音,句子有重读;了解英语语音包括连读、节奏、停顿、语调等现象。
2.教材分析(单元的话题、功能、情境、目标语言、前后关联等)
第二单元的课文是四组人物对话,为什么某人正穿着雨衣、戴着帽子、穿着T恤或连衣裙 并用 because 回答了原因。本单元的目标语言是 Why are you +动词 ing.. Because回答原因。
学情分析(认知特点、已有的知识基础与生活经验、预估存在的困难与障碍等)
(1)生理、心理特点:六年级的学生对英语有一定的语言基础,初步掌握了单词的发音规律和句子的朗读规律,对一些有趣的话题也很感兴趣。
(2)认知基础:六年级学生已积累了一定的学习方法:并具备初步的英语听、说、读、写能力。之前也学习过现在进行时和一般将来时,有一定的基础。
(3)生活经验:六年级学生已具备较强的观察和表述能力,乐于发现和表达。
(4)预估学习难度:本课中重点学习 why 引导的特殊疑问句,文中出现了两种时态,Why do you have cups on your heads Why are you laughing Why do you +动词原形,Why are you+动词ing.学生可能容易混淆。
(二)学习目标
1. 能够在课文语境、图片帮助下听懂、认读、会说本模块短语。
2.能够借助课文动画、课本插图、录音材料及任务单,正确理解课文信息。能够在动画、思维导图、点读笔以及老师的帮助下,正确跟读、朗读并复述课文;50%的同学能背诵全文。
3.进一步巩固“Why are you... ”句型,并做出相应的回答,能够借助问题或板书或语句含义正确理解why和because的使用语境。
4.培养学生大胆自信说英语的素养。
二、评价任务
运用Why, Because句型结构,完成对话。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Task 1 Play a game.
教师让学生到前面做出各种表情,让其他学生猜原因。如:当学生做出高兴的表情时T:Why is he/she happy
S2:Is today your birthday S1:No.
S3:Did you get a present S1:Yes.
对于猜对的同学教师可以给予奖励。然后再让学生作出哭、生气、大喊、饿、渴等表情,让其他同学猜“why”。
【设计意图】以游戏的形式复习上节课的内容,既活跃了课堂气氛,也巩固了所学过的知识,同时激发学生们的学习热情。(指向目标4)

Task 2 Look, listen and say.
1.教师在大屏幕上呈现图片,让学生自由讨论“What are Sam and Amy doing ”并给出合理的答案。
2.播放录音,学生跟读;教师领读,生生齐读。
3.在教室设定一定的情境,让学生表演对话。
【设计意图】通过跟读锻炼学生的听力,培养语感。并通过表演,使学生主动参与活动,调动他们的学习积极性。(指向目标2)

听 Part 2 录音。
1.教师利用多媒体呈现下列问题,让学生在听的过程中判断句子正(T)误(F)。
(1)Tom is wearing a raincoat because it's going to rain.( )
(2)Lingling is wearing a hat because it's going to be windy.( )
(3)San is wearing a T-shirt because he is going to play baseball.( )
(4)Amy is wearing a dress because she is going to the theatre.( )
再播放一遍,学生核对答案。

以同样的方式练习第二幅图片。
