教学目标
知识目标:
通过全英文绘本的学习,使学生复习动物的名词,学习描述动物的形容词。
了解并掌握固定句型They sent me a …. He was too….及I sent him back.
2、能力目标:
能在老师的指导下阅读这本全英文绘本,并能用行为动作展现出绘本的含义。
3情感态度价值观:
①通过全英文绘本的学习,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生英语的实际运用能力,同时增强学生的听说读写能力。
我们有很多朋友,但对于小宠物,我们是它们唯一的朋友。
让学生们照顾好身边的小宠物。
学情分析
这本家喻户晓的图画书主要讲了这样一个有趣的小故事:一个小朋友想要养宠物,于是写信给动物园希望能养一只宠物。没想到,动物园寄来的各式各样的动物,不是太大、太高,就是太恐怖或太调皮,就是没有他要的。直到最后,动物园寄来一只狗,小朋友终于找到刚刚好适合他的宠物。
除了故事生动有趣之外,这本绘本还有许多突出的特色:画风简洁可爱,但却栩栩如生;除文字之外,图画本身也能传达出丰富的信息,是图文结合的绘本典范;浅显易懂的文字、富有节奏感的重复句式,适合启蒙;常见动物名称、常见形容词以及so、too等高频词都可以通过绘本习得;具有无论大人还是小孩都能够感受到的浓浓幽默感;翻翻页设计精妙,充满趣味。
学情分析:
五年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用,既是四年级的衍生又是六年级的铺垫。我们的学生虽然已有两年的英语学习经验,但还有以下一些问题需要解决。
1、学习兴趣不是很高,部分学生甚至有厌恶感,同时,许多学生还是为学习而学习,谈不上兴趣问题;
2、回家不会学习,无正确的学习方法,不知如何看书.学习态度谈不上十分端正,回家以后巩固时间很少,且缺乏有效的巩固手段,练的机会明显不足

教学重点:
学生学会并简单运用固定句型。
教学难点:
学生学会在老师的指导下阅读全英文绘本。
教学过程
【导入】Step 1: Greetings
日常会话:Say “Hello” to students.
(为了拉近师生之间的距离,增进师生之间的感情,教师可以走到学生中间,与学生握手并说:Hello! Nice to meet you!)
【讲授】Step 2: Presentation
1、相关知识激活
T:First, let’s go to the animals world.(快速说出图片中的动物名称)
Look at this picture. Where is it (出示动物园的图片并问学生)
Ss: 动物园。
T:Yes. it’s a zoo. It’s a place where they keep animals. Would you like an animal to be your pet What is it
(激活与动物有关的知识,给后面的绘本阅读做一个铺垫。)
Ss: I would like a … for my pet.
2、封面导读
T: Look at this story book in my hand, today we are going to read this funny book. is the title , Rod Campbell is the author. (通过封面的导读,激发学生阅读动机。)
One day, the author wants to have a pet, so he wrote to the zoo to sent him a pet.(出示动态图)
Ding dong! I get a package from the zoo.
出示包裹,引起学生的兴趣,猜测包裹里面的东西,激发学生继续阅读,扫除阅读文字上的障碍。

(拿着老师自制的绘本书,翻开页面,发现动物,感受绘本给学生带来的无穷乐趣。并通过动作的演示,让学生明白sent him back 的含义。)
