Teaching procedures Step 1. lead in 1. Welcome to the students. 2. Students work in groups of four and practice saying hello using their English names. 3. An essay on "What do these letters mean " Have some students give their reports. Step 2. Show 1. Use the clock in the morning, afternoon and evening. Let the students know that we use different words at different times. 2. Show them pictures to help them say, good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Step 3 Complete 4b Play the recording for the first time. Have the students listen to the recording. Play the tape again. Step 8 Complete parts B 2a-2b 1. In groups of four or five people, practice the conversation in 2b using their English names. 2. Play a game. Who has the most friends Students move around the classroom trying to meet as many friends as possible and practice conversations with them. Let's see who has the most friends in three minutes. Students point out people and say their names. The winner gets a gift. homework Greet all your classmates after class and try to remember their English names.
