Teaching procedures Step 1. Warm up Regards. (Have all the students practice their English names.) Step 2 Games Play this game: Fill in nine Spaces with Aa-Hh. One of them can be used twice. (Show an example on the slide picture.) Students should write big and small ones. Students circle the letters they hear. If the circled letters line up, you win. Step 3 Complete 3a Listen and underline the letters they hear. Play the tape twice. Finally ask them what they can see. (A fish.) Step 4 Complete 3b Match uppercase letters with lowercase letters. Step 5 Games Look and find the letters. Show them a picture and ask them to find the Aha in the picture. Step 6 Complete 4 The students listen and follow. Make sure students understand the difference between two "a" sounds and two "e" sounds. Step 7 Listen and sing the song Play the recording for the students first. Then sing along to the tape.
