1）能听懂、会说、会读、会写如下单词短语：
单词:suddenly monster
短语: be fast asleep ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) wake up see…… jump out of open……hide close…...get back into
looks for sees…… jumps out of
2）初步掌握一般现在时中动词原形和年第三人称单数的构成和用法。
2.能力目标：能够在特定的情境中用所学英语流利的讲故事并表演。
3.情感目标：
1）关注学生在学习过程中的情感体验，培养学生自信、乐观的个性和积极学习的习惯。
2）引导学生形成勇于体验、实践、参与以及合作的学习方式。

2）通过表演故事进一步巩固一般现在时中动词原形和第三人称单数的用法。

1）引导学生通过体态语言去掌握单词、短语，并熟练的讲和表演故事；
2）对一般现在时的理解和运用。
四．教具准备：
怪物面具、Toby的图片、录音机、学生练习题、多媒体课件等
五．教学步骤：
Step 1: Greetings and Warming up:
Greetings （略）
Warming up：clap their hands and say the chant。
Step 2: Lead-in
In this class,we will do some interesting actions.Now let’s go.
Step 3: Presentation
The teacher does actinons for students.
Lead students to speak and act.
The teacher says some actions,the students do.
Step 4: Practice
Follow the tape to speak and do actions.
Work in groups of three and act for students.
Listen to the tape and fill in the numbers.
Match the pictures with the sentences.
Read the sentences and fill in the blanks.
Step 4：consolidation:
通过本课学习，我们领略了Toby的机智和勇敢。在今后的生活中，我们无论遇到什么危险可怕的事情都不要怕不要慌，要想出最好的办法去解决。
