Writing and Review
本单元的写作任务是写一篇调查报告。调查报告是针对某一现象、某一事件或某一问题进行深入细致的调查,对获得的材料进行认真分析、研究,发现本质特征和基本规律之后写成的书面报告。一般而言,写调查报告时要从以下几个方面进行写作:
首先,根据题目中所给的现象和问题做一些客观的介绍,通常使用的时态是一般现在时。这类题目一般会给出一个图表,列举一些数据或一些事实。
其次,分析这些数据或事实反映出的问题。这部分不是调查报告的主体,通常用一两句话阐述就可以,但要做到“一针见血”,即观点提炼准确、鲜明。
最后,通常在文章的最后一段阐述作者个人的看法和建议。

This form shows the result of a survey on how middle school students spend their weekend.It says that few students are busy doing their schoolwork.Instead,they prefer to surf the Internet,watch TV,go shopping rather than take part in sports games.Libraries and interest groups are not favourable.
Personally,I think students are now free from heavy burden but their spare time is not well arranged.They are expected to spend more time on what they learn.More time should be spent not only on green fields but also in the libraries to build up themselves physically and mentally.Besides,more interest groups should be set up for students so that they can become more creative eventually.
In a word,students should take part in more colourful activities.
