Mrs. Dinosaur: Danny, please go to the corner store for me. I need some milk. Here is some money.
Danny: OK. Mum.

Danny: Hmm. What would I like Let me see…
I’d like some juice…some coke…and some tea, please.
Clerk: OK. Juice and coke are in the fridges. And the tea is over there.
Danny: Great! I see them. Thank you.

Danny: Here you are, Mum. I have many bottle of coke, some juice and some tea, too.

这是一个祈使句。祈使句表示请求、命令、建议等。谓语动词一律用原形。句子中通常不用主语,句末用惊叹号或者句号,用降调。

e.g.Open your books.打开你们的书。

【拓展】(1)用客气的语气表示祈使句时,可在句首或句尾加上please,但如果在句尾加please,那在please之前一定要加一个逗号“,”。
e.g.Go this way,please.请这边走。
(2)祈使句中如果有人名,一定要用逗号“,”隔开,放在句首或句尾。
e.g.Come here,Li Ming.过来,李明。

2.I need some milk.
need用作动词,后可以直接跟名词。
e.g.My mom needs some milk.
我妈妈需要一些牛奶。
【拓展】need作为实义动词时,通常用法是:
人+need +to do;物+need +doing。
e.g.We need to do our homework.
我们需要做作业。
e.g.Her room needs cleaning.
她的房间需要打扫。

3.Here is some money.
money用作不可数名词,意为“钱”。
e.g.I don’t take money.我没有带钱。
4.Juice and coke are in the fridges.
juice意为“果汁”,coke意为“可乐”,都是不可数名词,两个不可数名词用and连接作主语时,谓语动词用复数。
e.g.Coffee and tea are my favourites.
咖啡和茶是我最喜欢的。
