feel like 意为“感觉像”。
Peter left Miss Martin’s classroom feeling like a loser.
彼得离开了马丁小姐的教室，感觉像一个失败者。
①feel like 还可意为“想要”，
feel like doing sth.意为“想要做某事”
相当于want to do sth. 或would like to do sth.。
I feel like eating something.
= I would like to eat something.
=I want to eat something. 我想吃点东西。
②feel like 还可意为“摸起来像…”。
It feels like silk. 它摸起来像丝绸。
notice sb. doing sth.
意为“注意到某人正在做某事”。
Yesterday I noticed him crying.
昨天我注意到他在哭。
notice 作名词，意为“通知；注意”。
The notice on the wall says, “No smoking”.
墙上的通知写着“禁止吸烟”。
“I just failed my English exam，”replied Peter. “我只是英语考试没通过，”彼得回复道。
fail (in) sth/ doing sth. 意为“（做）某事失败”。
fail to do sth.表示“未能做某事”。
They failed the game last week. 他们上周比赛失败了。
He failed to work out the problem.他没能解出这道题。
Peter accepted the challenge.彼得接受了挑战。
【辨析】accept和receive
①accept和receive都用作及物动词,意为“收到”,但用法不同。
②accept为主观上的接受、承认或赞同;receive为客观上的收到,不一定愿意接受。
She accepted the man’s ring.她接受了那个男子的戒指。
I received the letter just now.我刚才收到了这封信。
both… and…意思是“……和……两者都;既……又……”。
它通常连接两个相同性质的句子成分。若连接的两个成分作主语,谓语用复数。
He worked very hard, both by himself and with Krista. 他学习非常努力，无论是自学还是有克里斯塔（的帮助）。
Tonight they will both sing and dance.
今晚他们将又唱又跳。
Both she and I are good at English.她和我都擅长英语。
by himself的意思是“独自一人”,相当于alone。
He used to travel by himself.
他从前常常独自旅行。

by oneself也可以表示“独立地,单独地”
相当于 without help。
He finished it by himself.
他独立完成了那份工作。
