辨析 unique vs. special
special 作形容词时,意为“特殊的”,special只强调不一般的。
This is a very special example. 这是一个非常特殊的例子。
unique 作形容词时,意为“独一无二的;独特的;稀罕的”。
He caught the unique opportunity.
他抓住了唯一的机会。
“No problem. ”
用于口语,意为 “没问题”,表示对对方的请求作出的积极而肯定的答复。

请帮我移动一下书桌。
—No problem.
没问题。
problem为可数名词, 意为“问题,难题”。
Pollution brings a lot of problems.
污染带来了许多问题。
be supposed to do sth.
意为“被要求、被期望做……;应当……”,相当于should,用来表示劝告、建议、义务等。
We are supposed to describe ourselves in a report.
我们被要求在报告上描述我们自己。
Everyone is supposed to wear a seat belt in the car. 在汽车里每个人都得系上安全带。
在否定句中用be not supposed to do sth. 意为“不准、不应当做某事”,表示命令和禁止,相当于be not allowed to do sth.。
“find+名词/代词+形容词”
为固定结构,句中it作宾语,hard作宾语补足语。
I find it a little hard.

make sense意为“有意义,有道理”。
