意为“到某人做某事的时间了”。
It’s time for Li Ming to present his report.
该李明作报告了。

in front of
意为“在……前面”（指定范围外）。
in the front of
意为“在……前面”（指定范围内）。
He stands in front of the class.他站在同学们前面。
There are some trees in front of the classroom.（指定范围外）教室前面有一些树。
He likes sitting in the front of the bus. （指定范围内）
他喜欢坐在公共汽车的前面。
confident作形容词，
意为“自信的”。
用在be后或用于搭配be confident of（对……有自信）。
Now I feel more confident.
现在我觉得更加自信了。
He is a very confident person. He is confident of himself.
他是一个非常自信的人。他对自己有信心。
【拓展】confidence作名词，意为“自信”。常用于搭配have confidence in（对……有信心）。

go to college/university
表示“上大学”,不表示具体的大学,前面不用冠词。常见的类似用法有:go to school (上学)等。
I work hard in school and I hope to go to college someday.
我在学校努力学习，并且我希望有朝一日能够上大学。
My dream is to go to college.
我的梦想是上大学。
Sometimes I lose, but usually I win.
有时候我输，但是通常我赢。
sometimes作副词，意为“有时”，相当于at times。
【拓展】always, usually, often, sometimes, never等词在英文中被称为“频度副词”，是用来表示动作频率的，但在程度上不同。
频率比较：
always(总是，一直)>usually（通常）>often(经常) >sometimes(有时)> never(从不）。
对这些频度副词提问时，用how often。
try to do sth.表示“尽力做某事”,强调付出一定的努力要设法完成。
I will try to improve.
我将尽力提高。
【拓展】try doing sth.表示“试着做某事”,具有“尝试;试验”的意味,不一定付出很大努力。
I am trying to learn English.
我正尽力学习英语。
