Step1. Warming-up and leading-in
1.Watch a video and sing.
T: Boys and girls, Let’s sing together!
设计意图:通过一首有趣的歌曲结合动感的视频引入并复习已经学过的有关房间的单词,同时激发了学生上英语课的兴趣。
2. Free talk
T:Wow! The boy’s house is very nice, do you have a nice house?
Ss: ...
T:I have a nice house, too. Do you want to see my house Now let’s go and have a look.
设计意图:拉近与学生的距离,制造悬疑,提出问题,激发学生的好奇心和求知欲,快速的将学生引入课堂中。
Step2. New presentation
1.Study and in situation
(1)The teacher shows the pictures of her house and talk with the students.
T: Look at my new house! How many rooms are there in my house What’s in my new house
Ss: six...
(2) Study the sentences patterns and drill them.
T and Ss: There are six rooms in my house. There is a dining room, there is a living room, there are two bedrooms, there is a kitchen and a bathroom, too.
... (3)Study the adjectives and drill them with sentences.
T: What’s in my... Is it big Is it clean Is it beautiful
Ss:... T and Ss: Yes, my living room is big, clean and beautiful. We can watch TV in the living room...
设计意图:创设情境,结合教师家里的图片,引导学生说出本节课的重点句型“There is/are...in the ...”并学习操练重点词汇。也为文本学习做铺垫。
2.Do the tasks
T: Now ,you see, I have a new house, it’s big, clean and beautiful. But look at this girl, it’s snowing and very cold, she has no house. What can we do Let’s make a new, big, clean and beautiful house for her, okay We can do the tasks to get rooms for the girl. (Grouping contrast : Group A and Group B, who gets more rooms for the poor girl, who is the winner.)
设计意图:提出任务,有利于学生明确本节课的学习任务,目的明确。设立小组PK的方式,调动学生学习的主观能动性。用图片中可怜的小女孩激发学生的同情心,并学会去帮助别人,关心别人。

设计意图:借助挂图,鼓励学生观察图片,寻找信息,初步感知文本。继而提出问题并让学生讨论回答,进一步理解课文。

设计意图:通过再次听录音跟读,正确的语音输入可以矫正学生的发音,锻炼学生的认读和听说能力。也达到了强化巩固的作用。

设计意图:制造悬疑,激发学生的好奇心和求知欲,依据听说读写设计的三个不同层次的问题让学生在选择之后做出不同地回答。不仅发展了学生的语言综合能力,而且也达到了巩固文本的作用。
Step3.Expansion

2.Encourage the students to describe these two houses with key sentences and word.

设计意图:通过对比竞争结果,满足学生的成就感;通过对自己做的房子的描述引导学生爱自己的家,主动打扫自己的房间,升华情感教育。

设计意图:总结知识点,整堂课的总体评价让学生们学习兴趣倍增,激发了学生们的课堂表现欲,增强了学习主观能动性。作业的布置帮助学生巩固语言知识,要求学生打扫自己的房间,培养学生爱家的情感.

(一)可取之处
1.通过为无家可归的小女孩做房子进行小组PK,不但激发了学生的好奇心和求知欲,增强了学习主观能动性,而且培养学生的同情心和对家的热爱之情。 2.通过图片、歌曲、视频等多种途径,引导学生感知、了解并学习文本,充分发展了学生的语言综合能力。
3.情境教学法与任务型教学法相辅相成,让学生在情境中积极的完成提出的四个学习任务。
(二)需改进之处
1.在让学生说自己的房间时,学生的讨论有些局限,我应该及时引导学生进行更好的扩展。
