性格对人生的影响是多方面的。德国革命家台尔曼曾说过：“不论你将来走
什么道路，你的性格已为你的行为提供了前提一个人的历史就是他的性格。”
在生活中，人们也经常说：“小事养成习惯，习惯形成性格，性格决定命运。”
性格与职业
人的性格各不相同。人们发现，相同类型性格的人更容易相互交往。心理学
家把人在生活中、与人交往中的性格特点进行了分类。了解自己的性格属于哪种
类型，可以在生活中和工作中扬长避短，有助于改善人际关系，使生活更加愉快。
当然，一个人可能同时具有两种或两种以上的性格类型以及特点，但他所具有的
主要特征，代表其所属类型。根据知、情、意三者在性格中何者占优势，把人们的
性格划分为理智型、情绪型和意志型。
理智型的人，通常以理智来评价、支配和控制自己的行动；这类人也叫调查思
考型：这类人善于思考、喜欢观察、调查、分析、评估及解决问题。逻辑思维发达，
有较成熟的观点，一切以事实为依据，一经做出决定，能够特之以恒。生活、工作
有规律，爱整洁，时间观念强。重视调查研究和精确性。但这类人有时比较教条、
僵化，纠缠细节，缺乏灵活性。这类人约占25%，在工程师、教师、财务人员和数据
处理人员中较多。
情绪型的人，这类人感情丰富，往往不善于思考，爱感情用事，其言行举止易
受情绪左右；也叫敏感型，这类人精神饱满，好动不好静，办事情爱速战速决。但
是行为常有盲目性。与人交往中，往往会拿出所有热情，但受挫时又容易消沉失
望。这类人最多，约占65%，在各种职业中均有。
意志型的人一般表现为行动目标明确、主动积极、沉着勇敢、认真负责，具有
很好的自制力。约占10%，这部分人就是各行各业的成功人士。
