1.东西方人眼睛颜色不同的原因
科学家研究发现，我们人类眼球的虹膜是由5层组织构成的。它们是内皮细
胞层、前界膜、基质层、后界膜和后上皮层。这5层组织中，基质层、前界膜和后上
皮层中含有许多色素细胞；在这些细胞中所含色素量的多少，就决定了虹膜的
颜色。
色素细胞中所含色素越多，虹膜的颜色就越深，眼珠的颜色也就越黑；而色素
越少，虹膜的颜色就越浅，眼珠的颜色就越淡。色素细胞中的色素含量与皮肤的
颜色是一致的，并且与种族的遗传有关系。
东方人是有色人种，虹膜中色素含量多，所以眼珠看上去呈黑色；西方人是白
色人种，虹膜中色素含量少，基质层中分布有血管，所以眼珠看上去呈浅蓝色。
2,交通信号灯是红绿灯的原因
现代社会中，行人、汽车的不断增加，让人不得不更加注重交通安全。而人类
发明的红绿灯无疑是一个非常伟大的发明，这给我们带来了极大的交通出行安
全。但为什么世界上普遍的交通信号灯都是红绿灯呢？
事实上，红绿灯变绿灯表示“通行”，这是因为在19世纪时，许多的重型器械
都会亮起绿灯，警告工人这些器械正在“运作”或是“前行”。人们已经习惯了绿
色所表达的含义，如果在交通信号灯中，更换了其他的颜色，则很容易让人混淆，
这可能会加大意外事故的发生率。而红绿灯变红灯表示“停”，这是因为红色有警
