Club History知多少
17世纪工业革命，英国的社会结构产生变化。一些锦衣玉食的贵族，城堡被
夺、田地财产缩水、佣仆们四散一上层贵族崩解。其住所门可罗雀的境况让他
们无法忍受，因此，他们便四处相邀集结资金，寻找适合的地点及专人打理，建立
一个可供风光不再的贵族聚会联谊的场所。俱乐部文化应运而生；“俱乐部”这个
词是日本人对英文club的音译。
早期的俱乐部采用会员制，但因其招收对象的局限性，所以人数不多，其目的
主要是联谊、休闲和社交，让贵族消磨时光、重拾往日荣光。如果所设场所够大，
贵族们还可从事户外活动，如骑马、打球等。
全世界第一个乡村俱乐部(Country Club)成立于1882年的美国，位于马萨诸
塞州布鲁克莱恩市布鲁克林(Brookline)的球场是美国第一个高尔夫球场，它也是
美国高尔夫球协会(United States Golf Association,简称USGA)创始俱乐部之一。
杰勒德·布利茨(Gerard Blitz)于1950年在法国巴黎创立了地中海俱乐部
(Club Med)。这种别致的度假模式，能提供舒适的住宿、体贴的服务、丰富的运动
和美味的饮食，传达出了简单、快乐、阳光的度假理念。5年之后，他将度假村扩展
到大溪地等热带地区，又开展了冬季度假旅游。现如今，Club Med遍布全球5大
洲30个国家，一共拥有80多座度假村，已成为全球最大的度假连锁集团。
