Step 1 Warm up
1. Greetings.
T: Hello,everyone! How are you?
Ss: I’m fine. Thank you! And you?
T: I’m fine, too.
2.Listen, enjoy and repeat the chant
Fish and rice, very nice.
Juice and milk, very nice.
Egg and bread, very nice.
Yummy, yummy,
lunch is nice.
Step 2 Presentation
1. T: I want to eat jiaozi for lunch. What do you want to eat?
S:I want to eat noodles/jiaozi……

2. T: Now, it’s time for lunch. Let’s see what Tom’s family will eat. Listen to the tape and answer the questions.21·cn·jy·com
What does Tom want to eat? What does Tom’s dad want to eat?

3. T: Now, who wants to be Tom? What do you want to eat?
S: I want to eat jiaozi.（领读单词和句子）

4. 展示jiaozi, noodles, rice 的图片，让学生用句子表达I want to eat….
T: Rice, jiaozi and noodles are all Chinese food. （领读food）
Can Tom’s mum cook Chinese food?
S: No.
T: So, they will eat out.
6. Then check the answers and teach the new words: want , eat, out
7. Read the new words together.
8. Listen and imitate.
9. Read the text in groups.
