比较项 含义及用法 举例
the samesame 为形容词，意为“相同的”。the same为固定搭配，后面可接名词或名词短语 We shouldn' t make the same mistake again and again. 我们不应该一次又一次犯相同的错误。
the same as意为“与……一样”，为同类事物间的比较。as后面可接名词、代词或名词短语 Mary' s dress looks the same as her sister' s. 玛丽的裙子看上去和她姐姐的裙子一样。

the samesame the same … as意为“与……同样的(非同一个)”，常用来比较事物的相似点。the same后面可接名词或名词短语，as可引导一个定语从句。the same … as结构可与as … as结构互换 Lily is the same height as Lucy.=Lily is as tall as Lucy. 莉莉和露西一样高。
He asks the same question as he asked yesterday. 他问了和昨天一样的问题。

like like为介词，意为“相似；类似”，常与系动词连用，一般用于名词或代词之前，表示相似性 The food here doesn' t taste like what we had in Chinatown. 这里的食物尝起来不像我们在唐人街吃的那些。
look like意为“看上去像……”，指外观上像 He looks like his father. 他长得像他爸爸。
be like意为“像……一样”，指品德、性格等相像，更侧重表示人的个性特征 What is she like 她是个什么样的人

different different为形容词，意为“不同的；有差异的”，可以用any, no, (a)little, not much等来修饰 My son' s terribly untidy; my daughter' s no different. 我儿子邋遢极了，女儿也不比他强。
