连词复习
连词是一种虚词， 它不能独立担任句子成分而只起连接词与词，短语与短语以及句与句的作用。
连词的概念：
连词的作用：
连词是比副词、介词更虚的一个词类，它用来连接词、短语、分句和句群乃至段落，具有纯连接性，没有修饰作用，也不充当句子成分。
连词的分类：
连词可以分成并列连词、和从属连词。
连词思维导图：
（1）并列连词：
并列连词 并列关系 and(和),both...and...(两者都......)
转折关系 but(但是），yet(然而),still(仍)
选择关系 or(或者),either...or...(或者......或者......)
因果关系 so(因而),for(因为)
如: Let's go and play football! 我们去踢足球吧。
Either he or I am right.不是他正确就是我正确。
(2)从属连词：
从属连词用来连接句子的主句和从句。常见的从属连词有：
before(在.....之前) afer(在....之后 ),
when( 当.....的时候 ) while(当.....时,然而)
as soon as (一.....就.....)
before表示在......之前
after表示在......之后
You must finish your homework before your father comes home.你必须在你父亲回家之前完成你的家庭作业。
The boys will go to the cinema after dinner.
男孩儿们吃了晚饭后要去看电影。

when 意为“当.......的时候”，表示时间。
如: His mother was cooking dinner when he got home.
当他到家的时候，他妈妈正在做饭。
I’m dong my homework when my mother comes back.
我妈妈回来的时候，我正在写作业。
while 意为“当......时”时，表示时间;意为“而，然而”时，表示转折。
如: I am good at Chinese while my brother is good at maths.我擅长中文而我哥哥擅长数学。
I like singsing while my sister likes dancing.
我喜欢唱歌，然而我妹妹喜欢跳舞。
as soon as 意为“一......就......”，表示时间。
如:I'1l call you back as soon as I arrive.
我一到就给你回电话。
Jim dose his homewor as soon as he goes back home.
吉姆一回到家就做作业。
常见连词的用法:
both...and...
“both...and...”意为“两者都......”，连接句子的主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。
如: Both my brother and my sister are students.
我哥哥和 妹妹都是学生。
Both she and I like drawing. 她和我都喜欢画画。
and意为“和”,表示并列和对称。它连接谓语动词时,两个动词的时态、形式要一致。
如:Let's go and play basketball.我们去打篮球吧。
I like basketball, football and table tennis.
我喜欢篮球、足球和乒乓球。
but意为“但是”，表示转折。
如: I like this dress, but I don' t like the colour.
我喜欢这条裙子，但我不喜欢它的颜色。
I can sing but I can’t dance.
我会唱歌但不会跳舞。
for 和 because
for和 because 都意为“因为”，表示原因。
because 表示直接原因回答 why的提问:
如:-Why are you late 你为什么迟到了
-Because I got up late.因为我起晚了。
for 表示附加或推断的理由。
He isn't at school today, for he is ill.
他没有去上学，因为他生病了。
so意为“因此，所以”，表示结果，不能和because 用于同一个句子中。
如:I was very happy,so I sang and danced.
我非常开心，所以又唱又跳。
or表示选择，意为“或，还是”。
如:Is it red or green 它是红色的还是绿色的

在否定句中相当于and。
如:She doesn’t like milk or juice.
牛奶和果汁，她都不喜欢。
I don' t like playing football or playing basketball.
我不喜欢踢足球，也不喜欢打篮球。
