课标内容解读:义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质。学生通过英语课程能掌握基本的英语语言知识,发展基本的英语听说读写技能,形成用英语与他人交流的能力,同时,通过英语课程能够开阔视野,丰富生活经历,发展跨文化意识,促进创新思维,形成良好品格和正确价值观,为终身学习奠定基础。该话题作为课标重要话题功能项目的融合,强调学生能够用英语介绍中西方的重要传统节日,以及能够表述假期的计划与安排,在2022年的新课标修订中,也增加了五级文化意识标准,即要求学生能初步用英语介绍祖国的传统节日和典型的文化习俗。
教学设计理念:本节课是围绕“节假日活动”这一话题开展的一节中考复习写作课,以掌握与节日庆祝活动相关的词汇和句型为知识目标,以谈论和写作春节传统习俗与“云过年”新方式相关内容为技能目标,以增强学生对中华文化的认同感为情感目标,在学习内容中,以节假日庆祝活动为主,同时融合购物和计划安排话题的相关内容。通过创设情境,明确学习任务,帮助学生搭建写作脚手架,在合作学习中突破知识重难点,克服写作恐惧感,提高全体学生的学习参与度,培养学生对英语写作的兴趣和积极性。
话题分析:该话题融合了传统,又联系了实际,既考虑了课标对学生能掌握与节假日相关传统习俗表达的知识要求,又注入了新的时代元素,这是一个既联系生活实际,富有意义,又能引起学生兴趣的话题,是对学生进行文化教育的良好素材。
学情分析:对于学生来说,该话题非常贴近生活实际,学生对该话题也比较熟悉、兴趣较浓。结合近几年疫情之下要求“就地过年”的大背景,增加热点素材,能拓宽学生的视野,若能帮助学生搭建好写作脚手架,简化任务难度,可帮助学生习得该话题的相关知识和进行话题写作的表达。
教学目标:
Language ability:Students can master some words and expressions about festivals and holidays, especially the celebrating ways of the Spring Festival; Students are able to talk and write about traditional customs and online celebrating ways of the Spring Festival.
Learning ability: Students are able to get useful information for the task with the help of the learning goals as well as the help of teammates.
Thinking ability: Students can analyse the writing task, reading materials and get specific information.
Culture awareness: Students can know more about Chinese traditional culture and enhance Chinese cultural identity.

教学步骤:
Step 1 Warm up
Free talk(show the topic; ask students to talk about the reasons why they like festivals and holidays.)
[设计目的]:通过课前自由对话,直入主题,同时引起学生对本节课节假日话题的兴趣,让学生在轻松愉快的环境中进入课程的学习。
Step 2 Lead in
1. Show some pictures and play a guessing game. Ask students to guess what festival it is according to the picture as fast as possible (reward hongbaos). And then talk about some customs on the picture.
2. Create a situation: Our school newspaper is collecting stories about new ways of celebrating the Spring Festival.
3. Show the writing task and the goals in this lesson.
[设计目的]:通过中西方重要节日的引入,以及图片上直观呈现的庆祝方式,唤起学生对节假日话题词汇和短语的熟悉感。同时通过创设真实的任务情境,明确本节课的学习任务,让学生带着任务,有目的性且高效地进入课程学习。
Step 3 Pre-writing:
1. Help students analyse the writing task (topic, subject, tense, content, language, three-paragraph type)
[设计目的]:通过帮助学生分析话题作文的主题,内容,布局,语法人称等各方面的细节,找到每一段的写作重点,帮助学生搭建写作支架,减少学生对写作的恐惧感。
2. Scaffolding 1: Review related materials from the textbook. (M10 Spring Festival in Book 7A)
Task 1 Listen to the tape (M10 U2, 7A) and Choose the correct words from the box.
Task 2 Finish the mind-map in groups.
[设计目的]:通过复习七上M10 U2的课文,帮助学生掌握一些过年传统的习俗,同时通过思维导图的整理,帮助学生理清思路,能更好地介绍春节传统习俗,给学生第一段写作内容进行信息输入。
3. Scaffolding 2: Learn some new ways of celebrating Spring Festival.
Task 3 Choose the correct answers.
Make a comparison between the traditional customs and new online celebrating ways by showing pictures.
[设计目的]:通过阅读“云过年新方式”的文章并完成阅读理解题,帮助学生了解“云过年”方式的话题,同时通过图片的对比,能加深学生的印象和对该新方式有更直观的认知。给学生第二段写作内容进行信息输入。
Step 4 While-writing:
Task 4 Write a composition based on the sample.
Show the writing task again and give some writing tips to students. Then work in group and share ideas. Ask the group leader to write down on the letter and show in class.
[设计目的]:通过对每个段落的分析和写作素材指引,为学生搭建写作脚手架,降低学生写作难度。同时通过小组合作,以优扶差,让每个学生都能参与到写作过程中来。
Step 5 After-writing:
Summary: 1. Medal presentation. 2. Cultural awareness
[设计目的]:对这节课写作话题的梳理,同时对话题进行文化升华和情感教育,提高学生对中华文化的认同感。达到学习该话题的目的。
