单元语法突破
一、how much的用法
1.“How much is... ”常用来询问单数名词或不可数名词的价格,对此问句进行回答时常用句
型“It’s+价格.”。
2.“How much are... ”常用来询问复数名词的价格,对此问句进行回答时常用句型
“They’re+价格.”。
[拓展] 询问物品的价格还可以用句型“What’s the price of... ”。使用这一句型时,
不管所询问的物品是单数还是复数,be动词都用is,其答语都用“It’s...”。
3.“How much+不可数名词+助动词(be动词)+主语+... ”常用来对不可数名词的数量提问,回答
时直接用数量即可。
二、基数词通解法则
1.基数词的记忆规则
0—12 这13个数字独立成词,需单独记忆 zero,one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight,nine,ten,eleven,twelve
13—19 在相应的个位数后加-teen 构成 thirteen,fifteen,eighteen的拼写需特殊记忆
20—90 整十位数的基数词在相应的个位数后加-ty构成 twenty,thirty,forty,fifty,eighty的拼写需特殊记忆
21—99 整十位数加个位数,中间加上连字符 “-” forty-two,seventy-eight
[巧学妙记]
基数词找规律,十二以内词各异;
十三数到十九去,后加-teen莫忘记;
二十、三十……至九十,整十之后有-ty;
要说“几十几”,中间“-”号别丢弃;
十位到百位,中间and别忘记。
2.基数词的用法
(1)表示年龄,基数词放在year(s) old之前。
He is twelve years old.
他十二岁。
(2)用来表示人或物的数量,基数词放在名词之前;基数词只能修饰可数名词。
I have three balls.我有三个球。
(3)表示顺序、编号等,常用格式:名词+基数词。
