No spitting! 禁止吐痰!

2．Jenny and Bill meet at three o’clock to work on their project．
to work on their project动词不定式短语作状语。
work on意为“继续工作，从事，实施”。
Eg:
She knew how to work on the project．
她知道如何实施这个方案(项目)。
He is working on a book．
他正在写一本书。
3．Danny rushes into the library with a basketball in his hand.
with引导伴随状语，修饰前面的动作，表示动作发生时的状态。
Eg：She walks into classroom with an apple
in her mouth.
她走进教室，嘴里咬着一个苹果。
Mary went home with her bag.
玛丽背着包回家了。
4. I said we would meet at a quarter to three．
主句是过去时，从句为过去将来时，would为will的
过去式。过去将来时表示在过去某个时间看，将要发
生的动作或状态，多用于宾语从句或间接引语之中。
其结构是：would(should)+动词原形或was (were)
going to+动词原形。
Eg：
Mary said she would go to the school again．
玛丽说她将再一次去那所学校。
I didn't know how he would go．
我不知道他会怎么去。
5.she's half an hour late!
形容词与数量词或词组连用时，要放在后面。
Eg：
The road is about 50 metres wide．
这条路大约宽50米。
The new building is twenty—five storeys high．
这座新楼有25层高。
Her two-year-old daughter is lovely．
她的两岁的女儿非常可爱。
