Language points
形容词性物主代词
人称代词
his，her，my，your指“……的”，叫做形容词性物主代词，一般放在所修饰名词的前面，即：形容词性物主代词＋名词。
I，he，she，you是人称代词。
动词be的一般现在时
动词be在一般现在时中有三种形式, 即am/is/are。动词be在句子中的具体形式随着主语的人称和数的变化而变化。
主语 动词(be)
第一人称单数(I) am
第二人称(you) are
第三人称单数(he, she, it) is
复数人称(they) are

be动词的缩写形式
注意：并非任何情况下be动词都能缩写。
不可以缩写的情况
① am not不可以缩写;
② this is不可以缩写，those/these are也没有缩
写形式；
③在肯定的简略回答中不可以缩写, 如“Yes, I
am. ”不可以写成“Yes, I’m.”。
如：—Is this a bus
—Yes, it is.(不能说Yes, it’s.)
—Are you a student
—Yes, I am. (不能说Yes, I’m.)
