学情分析：
三年级是学习英语的起始年级，孩子们对英语充满好奇，他们活波好动，乐于参与模仿和表演。经过一个多学期的英语学习，他们积累的英语知识并不多，主要接触了动物、食物、颜色、服饰等话题，能用like表达自己的喜好。本课的教学需要在激活学生背景知识的同时，用问题、表情及动作引导学生理解故事内容和表演故事，引发学生大胆表达的欲望。
教材分析：
本故事主要讲述了一只小猫，它非常喜欢吃糖果，结果在吃了好多糖果过后，牙齿开始疼痛的故事。故事内容贴近生活，学生可以通过图片内容了解故事。为了让孩子们对故事有更深入的理解和思考，结合本故事的内容及学生学习的实际情况，我给这个故事取名为：Candy cat，同时在故事的开头，我加了一些背景知识：小猫的爸爸妈妈都不在家，小猫终于可以吃好多自己喜爱的糖果了，结果牙齿疼痛不已。通过故事教学鼓励学生不要吃太多的甜食。与本故事相关的语言知识有：So many, so sweet, teeth, all等。
教学目标:
【语言能力】
1. 能通过图片及动画内容，理解故事的大意。
2. 能熟练地复述并表演故事。
相关句型：so many... I like...very much.
相关词汇：sweet、teeth、all
【文化品格】
通过故事让学生明白吃甜食对牙齿的危害，同时告诉身边人糖果对牙齿的危害，要少吃糖果。

1. 通过听音想象，观察图片推测故事内容，培养学生细致观察能力和大胆推断能力。
2. 鼓励学生通过观察及模仿句子，揣摩角色情感，肺腑学生的想象，激活语言输出。

1. 能听懂、理解Read a story部分中情节简单的小故事，并能流利跟读录音，要求模仿正确，语音语调自然。
2. 学生能以三人一小组，表演本故事。
3. 能运用句型Do you like candies Yes, I do. Does the monkey like ice-creams No, it doesn’t. What do you / does ... like I like /... likes ...谈论喜欢的食物。
4. 培养学生合理的饮食习惯。
教学过程：
Warm-up 1. Greet with students.
2. Say a chant before class.
Pre-reading 1. Ask students some questions :Do you like milk/bread/candies
2. Tell students the background knowledge and introduce the cat.
While-Reading 1.Watch the video and answer the question: What does the cat like And lead in the title: Candy cat
2.Read the story one picture by one picture, and imitate the intonation, and make students imitate individually.
(Picture1) Wow, so many candies. I like candies very Much.(Try to understand :so many...)
(Picture2)They are so sweet. One, two, three...I like them all.(Try to understand and read “sweet”, “all”)
(Picture3) Oh, no! My teeth! Ha...ha.(Try to understand and read “teeth”.)
3.Read the story together.
Post-reading 1. Reorder the sentences.
2. Complete the blanks.
3. Retell the story.
4. Act the story.
Extension Group work: If you are the cat’s friend, what do you want to say to the cat
(Summary: Don't eat too many candies, they are not good for the teeth.)
Homework Show the story to your father, mother or friends.
