Step 2 Present Show pictures to review the words in different parts of the city. Ask the class to name these places in English. Step 3. Collaborate on research 1. Complete 1a ① Show the students some stamps and show them new sentences: Can you tell me where I can buy stamps Then talk about other things. ② Say the phrases in 1a aloud. Match everything to a location in the picture in 1a. 2. Complete 1b ① Read the instructions. ② Play the recording for the first time. Students just listen. ③ Play the recording again. Ask them to complete the conversation in the picture. ④ Check the answers with the class. Read the conversation in the picture. 3. Complete 1c ① Read the model dialog in the box. ② Pair work. Ask several pairs of students to perform in class. 4. Complete 2a-2b ① Show pictures. Discuss with students. Then read the instructions in 2a. The students guess what they will do.
