Objectives:

Warm-up:
Greet the students and introduce the topic: “Today, we will talk about taking care of ourselves and the challenges we might face. Can you think of some things we need to do to look after ourselves ”
Conduct a class discussion by asking questions like:
What daily tasks do you do to take care of yourself at home
Do you find it easy or difficult to look after yourself Why
Are there any specific challenges you face when taking care of yourself
Introduction :
Distribute handouts with vocabulary words and phrases related to personal care and household chores.
Have students work individually or in pairs to match the words and phrases with their definitions.
Review the answers as a class and clarify any misunderstandings.
Listening and Speaking :
Play an audio recording or read aloud a dialogue from the textbook that focuses on taking care of oneself.
Have students follow along in their textbooks and answer questions about the dialogue.
In pairs or small groups, ask students to discuss the challenges faced by the characters in the dialogue when looking after themselves.
Encourage students to share their ideas and insights with the class.
Vocabulary Practice :
Write several sentences on the board using the vocabulary words and phrases introduced earlier.
Divide the class into pairs or small groups and provide each group with a set of sentences.
In a timed activity, ask students to match the sentences with the correct vocabulary words or phrases.
Review the answers together as a class.
Grammar Focus: Present Tenses:
Review the present simple and present continuous tenses by eliciting examples from the students.
Write several sentences on the board using the target tenses.
