单元语法突破
一、序数词
1.序数词的构成
(1)英语中1—19的序数词,除了first,second,third外,其余均由基数词加-th构成,但要注意
fifth,eighth,ninth,twelfth的拼写形式。
(2)以-ty结尾的基数词变为序数词时,将y变为ie,再加-th。
(3)“几十几”以上的基数词变为序数词时,只把个位数变为序数词。
(4)序数词的缩写形式是由阿拉伯数字后面加上序数词的最后两个字母构成。如:
twenty-third→23rd第二十三

基变序,有规律;
一、二、三,特殊记,结尾字母t,d,d(first,second,third);
加th从四起,八去t,九去e(eighth,ninth);ve要用f 替(fifth,twelfth);
ty变tie,然后再加-th;
若是碰到几十几,只变个位就可以。
2.序数词的用法
序数词一般在其前加定冠词the或物主代词等限定词 the first day of a week一周的第一天
my twelfth birthday我的十二岁生日
表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日” August (the)third八月三日
表示顺序、编号等,序数词放于名词前面 the fifth lesson=Lesson Five第五课
二、名词所有格
英语中有生命的名词后加上’s便构成所有格,表明一种所有关系,这种所有格形式叫“‘s所有格”。’s所有格的构成如下:

my father’s room 我父亲的房间
以-s或-es结尾的复数名词,直接在词尾加 “‘” the boys’ books 男孩子们的书

表示共同拥有时,只须把把最后一个名词变为所有格形式 Mike and Alan’s room 迈克和艾伦两个人的房间
表示各自拥有时,须把每一个名词都变为所有格形式 Mary’s and Cindy’s mothers 玛丽的妈妈和辛迪的妈妈
[温馨提示]
(1)“名词+of+名词”也可以表示所有关系,构成“of所有格”。一般来说,无生命的名词用
“of所有格”结构。如:
the door of the house房子的门
a map of China 一幅中国地图
(2)当名词所有格修饰的名词前有不定冠词、数词、指示代词或不定代词等修饰时,常用名词的
双重所有格,其结构为“of+名词所有格”,表示“部分”的意义。如:
