单元语法突破
一、指示代词this,that,these 和 those的用法
1.this(这个)和these(这些)指离说话者较近的人或物;that(那个)和those(那些)指离说话
者较远的人或物。如:
This is my brother and that is my friend.
这是我的哥哥,那是我的朋友。
2.指示代词this,that作主语时,系动词be用单数形式is,同时后面的名词用单数形式。指示
代词these,those作主语时,系动词be用复数形式are,同时后面的名词用复数形式。
3.当回答主语为this,that,these或those的一般疑问句或特殊疑问句时,为了避免重复,在答语
中用it来代替疑问句中的this或that,用they来代替疑问句中的these或those。如:
—Is this a computer
——这是一台电脑吗
—Yes,it is.
——是的,它是。
—Are those your grandparents
——那是你的祖父母吗
—Yes,they are.
——是的,他们是。
[注意]
(1)在介绍某人时,用“This/That is...”,而不用“He∕She is...”。
(2)打电话时,介绍自己用“This is...”,问别人是谁用“Who’s that ”。如:

二、who引导的特殊疑问句
who引导的特殊疑问句的句型为“Who is∕are+主语 ”,对人物的身份提问。其中be动词
的形式应与后面的主语一致。
[注意]其回答形式应为“人称代词主格+is∕are+...”,不能用“It is∕That is∕This
is∕These are∕Those are...”回答。如:
—Who is that man ——那个男人是谁
—He is a teacher of this school. ——他是这所学校的一名老师。
