Section A
1.This is my sister. 译为“这是我的妹妹。”
我们常常用This is 来介绍离说话人较近的单个人或物；而用that is来介绍离说话人较远的单个人或物。
Eg: This is an apple. “这是一个苹果。”
That is a banana. “那是一个香蕉。”
注意：(1) this 和is 不可缩写；但that和is可以缩写。
(2)This is + a/an/物主代词 + 名词； This is + 姓名。
Eg: This is my father. / This is Miss Chen.
2.these “这些”是this的复数形式；指离说话人较近的一些人或物。
those“那些”是that的复数形式；指离说话人较远的一些人或物。
Eg: These are my parents. “这些是我的父母。”
Those are my grandparents. “那些是我的祖父母。”
注意：含有these和those作主语的疑问句，在回答时需用人称代词they替换。
Eg: (1) -- Are these your sisters
-- Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t.
(2) -- Who are those
-- They are my parents.
3.parent “父（母）亲”
常常以复数形式出现，parents “父母两个人”故谓语动词常用复数。
Eg: My parents are worker. “我的父母是工人。”
4.Who “谁”， 为特殊疑问词，常用来提问某人。
Eg: -- Who is he
-- He is my brother.
5.I see. 译为“我明白了。”
6.Have a good day! 译为“祝你有一个愉快的一天。”

1.family tree 家谱
2.family 在指家庭成员时，为集合名词，作主语时，谓语动词用复数；
Eg: My family are having a holiday in Beijing. “我们全家人正在北京度假。”
family在指家庭整体时，作主语，谓语动词用单数。
Eg: My family is small, there are three people in it. “我的家庭很小，只有三个人。”
3.here可以做不可数名词，没有复数形式，多用来表示“这里”
Eg: Come here. “过来。”
here可以做副词用，常常位于实义动词之后，但有时为了加强语气，可以放在句首。
here位于句首时，若主语为名词要用完全倒装形式；若主语为代词要用部分倒装形式。
Eg: Here is a photo of my school. “这是一张我学校的照片。”
Here are two photos of my family. “这是两张我的全家福。”
Here it is! “它在这了。”
Here you are! “给你！”
4.a photo of my family = my family photo “我的全家福”
5.next 可作名词，译为“下一个”
Eg: the week after next “下下周”
next还可作形容词，译为“下一个的”
Eg: the next photo “下一张照片”
next可作副词，译为“紧跟着”
Eg: next to “在...旁边”
6.the name of ... “...的名字” 常指无生命力的名字
