教材分析:这节课主要是学习询问、猜测物品 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )在家里哪个房间或哪个地方,主要培养学生听、说能力。本课时的主要语言项目是通过对话学习句型Is she in the living room/study/kitchen 并作出相应判断,也是本课时的教学重难点,学生要经过具体的情景操练来理解其意思和达到能实际运用的目的。21cnjy.com
学情分析:小学四年级学生,通过三年级下册第 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )四单元和本册第一单元的学习,他们已经学了描述物体位置的词语in/under/on/near,也初步接触了Where is it It’s under/in/on/near….这种句型,但对学生来说,听说Is she in the living room/study/kitchen 及其否定或肯定回答并做到在真实语境中灵活运用,还存在一定困难。因而,我注重以学生为主体,激发学生的学习兴趣,引导学生广泛参与,注重培养学生说的能力。21·世纪*教育网

Step I、 Lead-in
1、 Greeting.

设计意图:用一首节奏感极强的英语歌曲导入,不仅可以激发学生兴趣,把学生的注意力快速引入课堂,,且歌词能恰如其分地为本堂课的教学内容做铺垫。

Step III、 Consolidation and Extension.

2、Read the dialogue in pairs.
