Ⅰ.Revision
1.师生打招呼,引入本单元的话题,顺势进行Warming-up.
Show the picture of the school. Teacher asks:
(1)What can you see in the picture
Ss:
(2)Where is your school, is it the village or in the city
Ss:
Teacher says: We are at school. Our school is in the village. We live in Chang'ao village. Chang'ao is a beautiful village. So our school is in the village.学生根据老师的描述圈出自己学校位置的图片.
Ⅱ.New lesson
1.New words.
(1)新授单词:Library.
T: Where are you (引导学生回答.)
Ss: I'm in the classroom.
T: Where is our classroom
Ss: It's in our school.
T: Yes. Look, here is a picture. It's a school. What's in the school Let's have a look. What's this Can you guess
Ss:
T: No, It's a library. Many books are in the library.
出示图书馆的单词图片,教读拼写单词.
(2)用同样的方法学习其它单词.
教师提示:
a.teachers'是名词所有格,表示"老师的",而且是多位老师合用的.当我们要表示"某个人的"时,只需在人名或名词的原形后加's就行,但当我们想要表示"某些人的"时,就要在名词复数形式上加表示所有格的's,但一般名词在变复数时已加过s了,所以只需要在复数形式上加'就行了.
如:A girl's bag
The girls' bags
b.door和gate 都有"门"的意思.区别在于:door 表示的门较小,通常指近处房屋的门或室内的门;gate指"大门",一般指室外的,进出某一场所得门.
Ⅲ.巩固练习
1.猜单词.出示所学的单词卡片,拿掉两张,让学生说出消失的卡片是什么.
2.画出学校的平面图,在纸上标出学校的设施.
3.完成课本的listen and tick or cross.
4.听录音,跟读单词.
